We are actually lucky that the vast majority of immigrants that have historically crossed our southern border are Christians (mostly Catholic). That primes them well for assimilation. The trend of more illegals immigrants from countries other than Mexico or the northern triangle is distressing however.
Last time I was in London, I stayed around Heathrow and took the bus to the train. It was scary.
