just read on BTB that some last minute Carl Cook money may have made things interesting.

Given that he reportedly cut off communications with all 3 programs at some point today, that sounds about like the old practice of sniping an auction on eBay -- when somebody would use an automated app to place a bid with less than one second remaining to ensure they had the highest (and, more importantly, final) bid before the auction ended.

And you think kids that go to other schools aren't getting paid? Or, that other coaches are getting 100% of their targets? It's a #'s game. Every coach misses more than they land. I think there are legit questions about whether CMW works out, but getting talent hasn't been the problem.

What's your point, I mean, beyond whining? For instance: Bill Self, wait, BILL SELF struck out on most of that same list... oh yeah, and Mackenzie Mbako. Every coach misses more than they land.

Getting talent hasn’t been an issue for Woody, it’s can he build a team and coach a team.? That’s the biggest concern. We started 3 five star kids last year

You're looking at his recruiting in a myopic bubble. IU doesn't have the clout that some programs have currently and may be reaching a little .. but he's made progress, slow as it's been.
