The article, refers to how then Trump adviser Carter Page had a meeting with a Kremlin official who is also head of a massive, majority Russian Government owned, oil company called Rosneft. This official offered to sell a 19% stake in Rosneft to “foreign investors” in exchange for the lifting U.S. sanctions.

From the article:

"The [Steele] dossier claims that a representative from Trump’s presidential campaign, Carter Page, met last July with Igor Sechin, head of the Russian oil monopoly Rosneft and a senior Kremlin official. Sechin reportedly offered a 19 percent stake in Rosneft in exchange for lifting sanctions, and Page was “non-committal in response.”

"Page was also in Moscow five months later on Dec. 7, one month after Trump’s electoral victory, when Putin and Sechin announced on Russia’s national television that the country had sold to foreign investors 19.5 percent of Rosneft, almost exactly the portion cited by the dossier."

That stake was sold to a Singapore registered company that is owned by a complex mess of shell companies that keeps the actual owners of the shell companies anonymous (Trump???). So...when the IC says this is just getting started...my guess is they're telling the truth.

Then you have this series of tweets from John Schindler, former wingnut NSA Analyst who had multiple tweets today saying the IC is about to go "nuclear' on Trump and that Trump "will die in jail".

Trump says in the article that Flynn was treated unfairly and there were criminal leaks...plus the obligatory "media" bash.

Then why, Mr. Trump, did you ask for Gen. Flynn's resignation?

Its like going after GM in a DUI case rather than the drunk driver.

Bizarre logic but I understand his intent. Similar to what Crean values -- deflections.
