Honestly, Musk buying twitter barely moves the needle for me. I get that there are some crazies who are pouting about this, but I don't see this as a good/bad thing. If anything, I'm in awe that anyone could spend $45 billion dollars.
Well, they hooked up while she was with Depp so maybe in response to a poor performance. Then there’s another element in my last post.Is Musk buying Twitter to impress Amber Heard?
On a personal level for those twitter employees, I get the uncertainty and uneasiness about Musk taking over. Anyone who's ever had a new boss come in, have your company merge or have major shake up at the leadership level at your job can relate.
I'm not down with the world following me around. I don't have the watch devices and leave my phone when excercising or doing other outdoor activities. He can't. But probably a third or more of actual Twitter users (not the bots) would quit if they had to disclose their identities.
Why is it? They’ve had no use for free speech except that which they choose. Time drawing unemployment would do them well. I have no compassion for any of them who’ve jerked republicans around. On a personal level for those twitter employees, I get the uncertainty and uneasiness about Musk taking over. It's kind of a dick move to revel in them sincerely wondering if they'll have a job or not.
Elon Musk Lands Deal to Take Twitter Private for $44 Billion
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk agreed to buy Twitter Inc. for $44 billion, using one of the biggest leveraged buyout deals in history to take private a 16-year-old social networking platform that has become a hub of public discourse and a flashpoint in the debate over online free speech.www.bloomberg.com
I hope every lib employee that doesn’t want free speech for the right is sent directly to the unemployment line.

Maybe we could get Elon to buy this place! Why is it? They’ve had no use for free speech except that which they choose. Time drawing unemployment would do them well. I have no compassion for any of them who’ve jerked republicans around.
DeSantis will have a victory Tweet I presumeBusiness analysts speculate that the Twitter Board took the money ahead of a ‘bad earnings call’, this week.
When a state pension fund threatens to sue board members for breach of fiduciary duties (to stockholders), Adopting a poison pill made board members look all the sillier. Board room gigs are hard to come by.
Not taking the money and running, would make me as a stock holder inclined to join a class action.
Gross 🤢Why is it? They’ve had no use for free speech except that which they choose. Time drawing unemployment would do them well. I have no compassion for any of them who’ve jerked republicans around.
Wouldn’t that be fun?!Maybe we could get Elon to buy this place!
No soft or gentle side for any those pompous left wing woke liberals that have been reveling in allowing only speech they approved.Welcome back! Is this the softer, gentler stoll we've all hoped to see?
He’d want to replace Assembly Hall. Hard pass.Maybe we could get Elon to buy this place!

The joke is on you all for not knowing what you’re talking about. This was never a free speech issue as defined by the U.S. Constitution.Elon Musk Lands Deal to Take Twitter Private for $44 Billion

They know that, they just don't care. They're going to whine and wail about it anyway. The joke is on you all for not knowing what you’re talking about. This was never a free speech issue as defined by the U.S. Constitution.
I don't know much constl/1st stuff but I think that line is getting blurred and going to be an issue at some point in the not too distant future. I don't know the remedy for third party publishers but when they host political figures and censor/vet posters/ideas and in some ways operate by proxy the line gets blurred in my uniformed opinionThey know that, they just don't care. They're going to whine and wail about it anyway.
Does that worry you? It's a private company, remember? They can do anything they want, remember?Um, this could get interesting... "Authenticating all humans"? So he's going to revive free speech, but only so long as you show him your papers?
Don't you ever see those sites that have an "I am not a robot" button? How could he authenticate humans without disclosing/revealing their identities? I wish that would happen with Instagram
I just enjoy watching dumbasses discuss Twitter and free speech as if they have anything to do with each other.Welcome back! Is this the softer, gentler stoll we've all hoped to see?
She's hot, crazy, and a freak.Well, they hooked up while she was with Depp so maybe in response to a poor performance. Then there’s another element in my last post.
Again, just hearsay. I don’t have a cool random tweet to share of meltdown.
Talk about the fox guarding the henhouse! (not that Jen is a fox - quite the opposite)
I wonder if he'll move Twitter to Texas
Elon does great things with his intelligence.Serious question:
Is anyone actually freaking out about Musk buying Twitter?

Peppermint Patty is on it!
What's hilarious is that Musk's purchase likely won't even be completed until Fall.Twitter already improved with the departure of White BLM supporter Shaun King who is running for Gov of NY
no, not really. I think there have been people at Twitter who have pretty specific jobs that are worried their roles will change and there are the people who look to be offended about everything, but for the most part there’s a collective shrug from what I’ve seen.Serious question:

And some Twitter employees are celebrating because they are soon to be very wealthy. Their stock options will immediately vest with the sale.
12 months from now I bet Twitter will be largely indistinguishable from....no, not really. Most of what I have seen is far right folks reveling in what they think is the lib’s comeuppance and spiking the football with uncreative photoshops and memes.
