If nothing else, Trump will continue posting through his surrogates, as he has always done.
My real hope is that we eliminate publishers' immunity for electronic libel, slander, defamation, invasion of privacy, intimidation and conspiracy etc. published by Twitter and other services. "Free speech" never really protected communications in these categories anyway.
If electronic immunity is eliminated so that posters and Twitter are financially liable for their actions, I would have no problem if Musk makes Twitter wide open (even though I don't really believe what he is saying are his true intentions).
And, traditionally, the publishers (i.e. broadcasters and print media in the old days) were just as liable for their republishing of slanderous material (i.e. letters-to-the-editor) as the original defamatory speakers and writers. So, this wouldn't be anything new.
