I thought the suggestion that the government should approve any changes Musk wants to make to Twitter’s algorithm most telling. The unconstitutionally of controlling any “editorial” function, certainly isn’t to be questioned, or is it?

I don’t agree it should be, necessarily, open source either. Let’s publish to the world tools that can have been proven to be capable of misuse, that any autocrat may choose to control content in real time.

Keeping secrets is one thing. I don’t need to know the line items in the black DARPA budget. Quashing the truth, says facts aren’t relevant in the debate challenging any administration’s ‘orthodoxy’.

That’s an interesting point. I was thinking more in terms of image and reputation, maintenance thereof.

I think you’re dreaming. Two things inured to his benefit—“the stolen election” and Biden. He’s still exactly the same piece of shit and his popularity is exactly the same as the day he left. It’s baked in. If he gets back on Twitter it will help him because it will guarantee free publicity.

Quite the contrast from Musk's view about being allowed to say whatever you want on twitter.

Would have to say it helps feel less inclined to want a tesla. I'm guessing there will be plenty of options in the electric car arena in the near future. Just like there are plenty of alternatives to "my pillow"
