The wall is a moronic idea which has been pointed out by numerous studies. It is unrealistic to have a continuous wall & it carriers large environmental and ecological impacts with it. It is also a costly boondoggle and waste of taxpayer money to satisfy radical if not racists nut jobs on the right. Finally, it will have little to no impact on illegal drugs or their use by Americans. Trump is a blowhard and it is funny how his moronic base forgets that Mexico is gonna pay...NOT

I think he is counting on the premise that his supporters don't understand that anybody with $30 can easily buy a ladder to climb over the wall; ex-president of Mexico articulated this issue last year. Apparently, he was right since they voted for him. Now, we have to cough up $18B for this useless wall so that he can brag about how he fulfilled his promise! I am sure Ladoga & co. will be very happy about it.

That’s the first time. After that people will leave the ladder a short distance away under some bushes. A small sign will point out the location. No one will need to purchase a ladder again.

The USA is awash in guns no need to smuggle guns in, the USA is awash is home grown drugs unless you have not been paying attention to the opioid epidemic fueled by prescriptions and good ole home made drugs from the garage, last I checked the USA has a mass shooting committed by US citizens on US citizens on a fairly routine basis. None of these problems will go away with a wall or even be significantly impacted I wouldn't think.
