He's the guy. If he can win at Ole Miss, he can win at IU. Let's ****ing making this happen!

Don’t care. I just want the Hoosiers to win. I lost my moral compass for a basketball team 30 years ago when they were good. The dude beat his wife. No thanks.
You don’t know the story obviouslyDon’t care. I just want the Hoosiers to win. I lost my moral compass for a basketball team 30 years ago when they were good.
but could he beat Illinois at home? The dude beat his wife. No thanks.
Did Texas know the story? You don’t know the story obviously
We knew enough that he had to goDid Texas know the story?
Texas and UT Austin/Austin are very distinct things.Did Texas know the story?
Were you there? The dude beat his wife. No thanks.
But did he beat his dog? That’s a deal breaker. The dude beat his wife. No thanks.
The girlfriend dropped the charges so WGAFF?The dude beat his wife. No thanks.
The girlfriend dropped the charges so WGAFF?
Glad he won, will probably keep him from strangling his wife/companionHe's the guy. If he can win at Ole Miss, he can win at IU. Let's ****ing making this happen!
if the police have enough evidence, they could have still charged him, we live in a country where a felon can be president but an accused but not convicted person in a domestic dispute cant coach basketball.Yea, of course she did. And I’m sure there was no money involved.
Anyone who reads the police report and still thinks Beard would be a good role model and leader for the university is fooling themselves. No thanks.
I'm willing to bet Pam Whitten does.....The girlfriend dropped the charges so WGAFF?
One key role Pam and the BoT has in this process is considering reputation and headline risk for the university. There are many good coaches out there, Beard’s baggage isn’t worth it. Every article on the new IU hire would talk about the DV allegations. And there are stories beyond the DV stuff that isn’t good either. He isn’t the right candidate.I'm willing to bet Pam Whitten does.....
Yes, doesn’t seem to have the right temperament for a job like IU. He’s never been to a basketball program with a fan base that has our expectations, so it’s probably a chance best not taken. The dude beat his wife. No thanks.
we're not looking for a role model. we're looking for a coach.Yea, of course she did. And I’m sure there was no money involved.

In Mississippi, I seriously doubt he'll be under the kind of scrutiny he'd be under here. He knows that, Pam and the BoT know that. One key role Pam and the BoT has in this process is considering reputation and headline risk for the university. They’re not mutually exclusive. I’ll take someone who is both, there are plenty out there.we're not looking for a role model. we're looking for a coach.
Did he beat her to a bloody pulp or simply respond to the words, “Hey, Beard!” before “assaulting” her with a grab to the arm as a means to get her attention prior to offering a life lesson in proper manners? The dude beat his wife. No thanks.
I'm truly not sure she does....BOT probably does thoughI'm willing to bet Pam Whitten does.....
Bad analogy. This isn’t an election between two people. IU has many options to hire for their next coach.About that moral compass... The country just elected a convicted felon without any sense of morality by a landslide. Most acknowledge his reprehensible character, but yet they thought he was the man to lead our country.
Would bet that many of those taking the high ground on Beard probably voted for our next president. But, I understand that the IU coaching job is probably more important, so I'm sure we need to uphold our standards.
Quite often neither side has any reality.Bad analogy. This isn’t an election between two people. IU has many options to hire for their next coach.
btw I get you’re biased, but the reality is both sides don’t have much morality.
Indiana and IU Bloomington/Bloomington are distinct things.Texas and UT Austin/Austin are very distinct things.
It wasn't a landslide - less than 50% of the popular vote and less than 1.5% more than the primary opponent is not a landslide. Sorry but those are the stats.About that moral compass... The country just elected a convicted felon without any sense of morality by a landslide. Most acknowledge his reprehensible character, but yet they thought he was the man to lead our country.

Woodson coud'nt even beat his wife! The dude beat his wife. No thanks.
There is a gulf between the politics of Texas and the politics of Austin. The decisions made with respect to the prosecution of Beard , and his dismissal from the University, are rightfully considered with respect to the politics of Austin not the politics of Texas. Not sure what your point is. Is there a similar case in Bloomington?Indiana and IU Bloomington/Bloomington are distinct

SEC is deep this year. Auburn, Bama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Ole Miss, Miss State, Texas A&M, Georgia could all make tourney.
I really don’t know anything about the current politics in Bloomington but would guess there is a considerable difference between Bloomington and the rest of Indiana. You don't believe there's "a gulf between the politics of Bloomington and the politics of Indiana?
