Those are good odds but I am not sure IU has the depth or talent to win the B1G this year. I do believe this group of coaches will have IUFB doing much better than many think.
That should tell you all you need to know about how "Vegas" works. Basically, they have to produce higher odds (not that I would take it) to get the Homers to bet it. Meanwhile, on something more realistic like overall wins...we're in the middle'ish of the B10. That's probably a truer gauge of where they really think IU will finish.

Nothing realistic. I have a tough time with the really long shot bets — tough for me to grasp.
I’d like to see the odds for 6, 7, or 8 wins. That could be interesting.
I hope to bet a lot of IU games this year if the lines underestimate Cig.

Was in Vegas last week for work...looked at 2 different books and both had 5.5 wins as the over/under on for IU. Can't remember all the teams below us, but it basically put us mid-pack in the B10.
I don’t want the hype. . I rather come out and surprise the piss out of people.
250 to 1 to win the Big Ten vs OSU, UM, PSU, Oregon, UW etc etc. ???

Wow, that's pretty strong!! The Cignetti hire has obviously impressed. They think Indiana could start out red hot and go to 7-0!
CCC2.0 did say we would be playing in the Big Ten tourney
