Is there a "crime" that address's fault to that little pissed off "Karen" (the little bantam chicken I like to call them) that just keep chasing you and yelling and agitating you, trying to invoke a response? I know when you do respond it's Battery, but what about the agitator that just wouldn't let it go?
Is all of the responsibility of walking away in the hands of the person who slapped the shit out of her? (before the slap the shit out of part, is the question)

IANAL but it should be legal to slap her with the business end of a shovel.

IANAL, but I would think that meets the legal definition of harassment.

"Harassment refers to words or behavior that threatens, intimidates, or demeans a person. Harassment is unwanted, uninvited, and unwelcome and causes nuisance, alarm, or substantial emotional distress without any legitimate purpose."

Proving that claim can be difficult because I think you need to establish intent by the harasser to cause the nuisance, distress, etc.

As one of my family members Johnny Lee would say "Oh then lawlers!"

They are mentally ill, just do your best to avoid them. They are easy to spot.

Thanks, giggle giggle. Oddly enough, it is a serious question. I was talking to a guy earlier, and the question came up.

A good rule of thumb is not to skimp on the kind of beer you use in your batter. Don't just pout in a can of Bud Light. A dark German lager is much better,
I would think that the lager would make it too batter-y , more like a Doah.

Is there a path to charge Harassment with intent to cause violence?
Example, a black Karen gets punched in the face, and then charged as a hate crime.
**** yea I hated her, in that moment and time. Just like you are a dickwad right now, your honor.
