She was the camera operator. The script called for him to point at the camera.
One - and ONLY one - person on a movie has, or should have, the duty to make certain of no live ammo.
Once you give that duty to 2 people, or split it in any way, you guarantee failures.
Baldwin should have never been charged. He was merely the actor.
This is a “legal technicality” dismissal by a judge who was looking for a way - and was handed one.
Prosecutors who decide for themselves what “information” should be considered “evidence” and withhold some “information” run this same risk.

I used to get it wrong until I started to think of affect like an influence and effect like a result.
I get hung up on the other use of "affect" that relates to how one appears -- "Joe exhibits a blank affect."

And the facial expression as you're pulling the trigger I'd guess. Nothing like that pressure to make it feel real for the facial expression.
I was impressed the judge looked at the bullets herself and made her own reasonable person conclusion that the prosecution withheld evidence. The armorer went to jail … and faces a future of uncertain employment.
