Where did their 3 pt shooting come from? They are not good shooters this year. Grrrrrr!!!!!
It is a little frustrating when we find a wide open guy on the wing........but it's Smith. On the bright side, he isn't taking as many of them, maybe.
Right mi st 3 pt shooting has only got them totally back in game. But we play DG because he is supposedly instant offense. Non of our guards can shoot 3 with any consistency and it is a huge liability.
I dont understand why IU is always so far off on defending the 3! You cant give teams like this space! I hate the lazy attempts at blocking the 3 too! Just lazily trying to put a hand in their face doesnt affect a good shooter! How about trying to block the fkn ball instead!? Another total fkn let down defensively!
I'm sure that's part of it. But the driving lanes and post-ups would obviously be tougher to guard if Smith's guy wasn't sagging.
He does what he can. It's just tough in real time when the offense generates a wide open look we can't shoot...
