I tend to agree with you. Trump and Harris can only do harm to themselves by speaking. That said, it's better for our democracy the more each candidate speaks honestly about his or her world view and positions.

I think Trump would be better served by just going around doing those McDonald's type photo ops. They work for him somehow--he has a type of natural charisma that leads to at least one meme-able photo that puts him in a good light.

While I agree, state control of elections is a good thing. Best option is to continually shame PA, AZ, CA etc. for their ridiculous election procedures. Try and take back legislatures and governorships and put in common sense guard rails.

The non P4 qualifier will get a bye and a top 4 seed if they are ranked higher than teams that won their conference championships. ND can't get any higher than a 5 seed because they cannot win the ACC. They are in limbo. These are the 2 quirks about the seeding that baffle me. If Boise St wins out and there is a single upset in a conference championship game with a team ranked below them winning, they will be the 4 seed. ND could go undefeated and they still can't get a bye.

Oh I don't think much about it. At all. Things are definitely good for me on the money front. I'm not worried about it.

And regarding reporting, I don't have the slightest idea about what or why things are required for reporting public salaries. Coaches and high level administrators get bonuses and other merit-based stuff all the time that isn't fully reported on those public databases, unless you know where to look. That said, I'm not saying I'm swimming in bonuses or anything like that.

As we know, best rosters don’t always equate to best team. Maybe we should just hope this roster is so talented with 6 players averaging over 10 pts/game, even Mike can’t screw it up.

Basketball expectations are always high at IU, thanks to RMK. It’s been the demise of many IU coaches this past quarter century and still counting.
