While you might find a better candidate by any objective matter, I'm not entirely sure it matters a ton. A lot of the political discourse (and that's obviously being super generous) isn't built on reality; even the "better candidate" might likely get ripped apart in ways that are unfair or unrealistic to effectively nullify the "better" quotient.
true, but a younger, more well-spoken candidate might be more difficult for the opposing propaganda. And probably would have less worry of a 3rd party siphoning votes.

Well, I haven't seen much about what Trump is running on in 2024 besides having Congress block an Immigration Bill. I'll name a couple
Healthcare- Trump did nothing. Biden with the Pharma bill, CHIPS and Science Act. Did not kill or claim to Replace ACA.
Environment- Trump wants to shut down EPA, Roll back over 100 EPA policies, an enemy to Green energy such as electric cars, solar, wind. etc....
Infrastructure- Trump did not get anything passed. Biden Infrastructure Deal
Jobs- enough said
Inflation- caused by Covid not Biden. Numbers dropping. Inflation Reduction Act.
Salary Increases
Families wealth increases
Rise in living wages- also, Biden wants to sunset a giant accomplishment for Trump. Tax Break for the Rich. Why didn't Trump pass an historic Tax Break for Middle Class or Poor? Did Trump figure in the growth of the deficit that would happen?

Absolutely wrong, inflation was caused by the exit of Covid or the lockdown. Fact! ask any economist. I am in the healthcare industry and hospitals and elective surgeries were shut down for months. Our company almost went under, couldn't meet payroll, and we VERY much appreciated the stimulus checks no matter how small they were. That's what we pay taxes for.
Maybe Blue States held on for a BIT too long. But I had friends die early on. They did lift it.
Gas prices have to do with supply and demand. When the economy is in crisis, gas prices go down. FACT. Look at 2010 gas prices.
All I know is the Rich got a big tax break under Trump. Minorities are often poor. Affluent people are mostly white.
There are no open borders. FACT It's a talking point for the Right until after the election. Question, why did Congress vote down the Illegal Immigration Act. Politics maybe?
