Woodson should resign

If Woodson had any respect and pride for IU he would admit defeat (can’t get the job done) and resign in the post game press.
Not after this game.

If he gets blown out at home by Michigan and a first year coach, I could agree a bit.

In general though, since the paint hasn't even dried yet, I think it's best to let things play out a while.

WTH are you talking about?

It isn't like IU was won much recently.

Woodson is hurting his school and destroying his legacy.

Agreed. I think it's already fully played out. He's not a good college coach and I would argue he's probably not a good coach at all, just lucky to be associated with Knight and Indiana. He's basically stealing money right now accepting his salary. He's gotten the NIL money, he's arguably gotten the talent and he's done next to nothing with any of it. He'll miss the tourney again this year. There is no point in firing him until after the season and he's got way to much ego to step down. He'll continue laughing all the way to bank and crawl back to the NBA to be an irrelevant assistant coach on some mediocre team.

So you have a group that is playing well? at the end of the first half and cutting into the lead. Ballos goaltending was crap. So how stupid can you be to go back to five players that aren’t playing well? Is he really that stupid or just doesn’t care?
i didn't get to watch last night, but what you described is exactly what he did vs Purdue. With immediate negative results to begin the 2nd half.

That's a huge if. He has at the least figured out he is "the hump", didn't mention it once in his post-game dribble. I did like the eight games left to turn it around with five at home.

Did your coach answer any questions about full court pressing with his starters against the opponents’ third stringers behind by 20 with a minute left?

I guess that helps salvage a little face in the final deficit and maybe some NET ranking benefit. I’m sure his bench players appreciate not getting any PT in a blowout.

That was his last trip to Madison, I assume.

our bench players make more than 90% of us here, so how angry can they really be?

Hopefully so. Now just go back to your forum little badger. We've got things to talk about.

I agree he is arrogant. I don’t think he feels he can turn it around. At this point it is just milking each weekly pay check and then the buyout.

Agree with this. He's arrogant, but he's not an imbecile. He's given up, but he can't publicly admit he's failed. Someone close to him needs to tell him a looks like an old fool.

I sure hope so.

There was one moment in the game where the Peacock producer cut to a shot of Woodson and two assistants on the bench, they were just sort of shaking their heads and the impression was that they had no idea what to do. It was no more than a second or two, wondering if anyone else noticed that.

Agree to a buyout now so he can retire now and pretend that it's his idea. He's destroying any legacy he has as a player and a coach and at this rate will only be remembered for his failures.

He's got a contract buyout of $1M per year. That should be sufficient. I wouldn't pay him a penny earlier for being a dick about not retiring.

He is a great coach but a sub par human being.
You admitted here that you defrauded the US government and could have jeopardized the nuclear security of the United States by using a military telephone in an unauthorized manner. You jeopardized the safety and security of women and children putting your own selfish interests above the weak and defensless. You should be in the deepest darkest hole of Fort Leavenworth.

I am amazed you remember me saying that. If I was in court I would plead mercy because I was in love. It was a deep love and an airman's salary which drove me to it
