If Woodson had any respect and pride for IU he would admit defeat (can’t get the job done) and resign in the post game press.
He won't. He is the king of Indiana. We must respect king big pappi daddy. If Woodson had any respect and pride for IU he would admit defeat (can’t get the job done) and resign in the post game press.
Not after this game.If Woodson had any respect and pride for IU he would admit defeat (can’t get the job done) and resign in the post game press.
What?? lol. Idk though. With his ego, I'm enjoying him sucking up these azz whippings day after day.Not after this game.
If he gets blown out at home by Michigan and a first year coach, I could agree a bit.
In general though, since the paint hasn't even dried yet, I think it's best to let things play out a while.

He is far far too arrogant to do that. He probably still thinks he can turn it around. If Woodson had any respect and pride for IU he would admit defeat (can’t get the job done) and resign in the post game press.

Agreed. I think it's already fully played out. He's not a good college coach and I would argue he's probably not a good coach at all, just lucky to be associated with Knight and Indiana. He's basically stealing money right now accepting his salary. He's gotten the NIL money, he's arguably gotten the talent and he's done next to nothing with any of it. He'll miss the tourney again this year. There is no point in firing him until after the season and he's got way to much ego to step down. He'll continue laughing all the way to bank and crawl back to the NBA to be an irrelevant assistant coach on some mediocre team.WTH are you talking about?
It isn't like IU was won much recently.
Woodson is hurting his school and destroying his legacy.
I agree he is arrogant. I don’t think he feels he can turn it around. At this point it is just milking each weekly pay check and then the buyout. He is far far too arrogant to do that. He probably still thinks he can turn it around.

i didn't get to watch last night, but what you described is exactly what he did vs Purdue. With immediate negative results to begin the 2nd half.So you have a group that is playing well? at the end of the first half and cutting into the lead. Ballos goaltending was crap. So how stupid can you be to go back to five players that aren’t playing well? Is he really that stupid or just doesn’t care?
That's a huge if. He has at the least figured out he is "the hump", didn't mention it once in his post-game dribble. I did like the eight games left to turn it around with five at home.If Woodson had any respect and pride for IU he would admit defeat (can’t get the job done) and resign in the post game press.
Look at UNC. They were in the championship game a few years back and it looks like they are going to fire Coach Hubert Davis an alumni. It is just business now. There is no loyalty on both sides.WTH are you talking about?

Did your coach answer any questions about full court pressing with his starters against the opponents’ third stringers behind by 20 with a minute left?
I guess that helps salvage a little face in the final deficit and maybe some NET ranking benefit. I’m sure his bench players appreciate not getting any PT in a blowout.
That was his last trip to Madison, I assume.
