Why does Paul Finebaum hate Indiana ?

I had heard of Finebaum from message boards long before I ever watched him on ESPN, and I watch ESPN but just for events, and a couple talking head shows I liked.

FInally I thought 'hey, here's Finebaum, he's supposed to be good' and so instead of switching channels I watched for once. Ten minutes in I thought 'this is stupid, this guy has no information' . I tried a couple more times after that, same result, haven't watched him in a long time.

Finebaum's bread is buttered by the SEC, I assume that's why he feels compelled to trash Indiana. And he doesn't have to be close to right, he's playing to his audience.

Yes. he does favor SEC over B1G and doesn't think changing coaches at IU is still IUFB and doesn't recognize how IU played. They got screwed by putting them against ND instead of putting them in spot they should have been. No problem though, IU is getting better each year with the coaches we have now.

I understand the guy is an SEC shill but in this article he singles out Indiana as a team that would be under .500 in the SEC. Did Cig piss in his wheaties or something. Indiana still gets the most hate out of all the CFP teams. Cig has plenty of bulletin board material for the team this year.

Who cares what finebum thinks?

Dakich takes a lot of grief for some of his comments, as does Pat McAfee. But both of those guys played their sport at a high level.
What has that bat-eared goblin ever accomplished between the lines, that his opinion has any value whatsoever?

Much like the size of the universe, I am certain my mind will never be able to fully comprehend what the hell happened last season. That season was so far beyond what I thought was truly possible for us, let alone in year one.....it was beyond the best case scenario and I still can't quite wrap my head around it. I just found myself giggling in the 3rd quarter of games at the audacity of us running up scores on teams like Nebraska and Washington. Out of body experience is the only way to describe it.
Magical in virtually every way.
