We know that Morgan and Fitzner are graduating; Forester and Moore are transferring; and Langford is going pro. That's 5.

Per an article down below it sounded like Green is staying and per a poster who made a good case concerning Smiths sterling academic standing in the Kelly (AllBigTen Academic) it would seem he'd stick around too..., so that leaves
Anderson and Hunter as the big question marks...

It would appear we're linked to 8-9 prospects to fill 5, to possibly 6 slots if another guy transfers or Hunter ends up on a Medical...
Should be interesting.

Here are our "known" prospects:

Jackson-Davis (signed) PF
Franklin (signed) SG

Brunk C Butler immediately available for 2
Utomi SF Akron immediately available for 1
Duruji SF La Tech sits 1, available for 2
Lewis PG Alabama sits 1, available for 3

Watford F immediately available for 4
Quinones SG immediately available for 4

And the Ben Davis SG whose name escapes me at the moment (and who may be a Preferred Walk On offer)...

Beverly SG may be an option but someone said he didn't want to play in the Big Ten (down below)

I'd imagine there's at least one or two more we haven't heard about (perhaps a couple JC guys)...

I'd expect we'll know a lot more about what our Basketball team will look like by the end of this month...

If we have one more available (in addition to what we have now) I'd like to see Utomi in an Indiana uniform...

Is this really bad that Moore and Forester are leaving? Not just a talent loss, but does it suggest Archie is not connecting with players, driving them away?
Just getting guys he wants to fit a defense and offense style?

Whos joining....UK and Purdue fans thats who...rubbing the NIT in our faces...the upside of their programs and the paths they are on...and the downward spiral they see Archies Hoosiers continuing down...UK and Purdue fans are joining this forum and laughing at Hoosiers

He didn’t recruit Moore. So no with him.

Jake - maybe. It was an Archie recruit. He wasn’t ranked high so maybe both parties thought he’d develop. With all the front court injuries this year, neither of them played. Moore struggled on D. Some people speculated some off court stuff with Jake. Who knows.

In the end, with TJD, possibly Brunk, and Race - these guys are both 4th in line at best. Makes sense to leave for more PT.

Jake maybe could’ve developed, but he wants minutes now - so IU just isn’t the place for him.

I'm sure it's been discussed somewhere on here but I missed it...: Is Hunter coming back by midsummer?

Did the surgery work?

I believe there is concern about blood clots. Possibly career issue to deal with for him. But that's hear say I've read on here. Sooo.... as for the surgery sounds like all is coming along well.

Didn't seem to be the case during the NIT?

All it takes is a hot start and Assembly is standing room only.

You are correct there. A lot of people I know were able to afford the $20 tickets and take their kids to the NIT game - that otherwise wouldn’t have had the opportunity, whether financially or just the difficulty in securing more than two seats together. There were lots of ‘first timers’ that jumped on the opportunity to get a cheap good seat to Assembly Hall, and Im glad that opportunity was there for them.

Me personally though, I’d have rather paid for the full ticket price and drove to the regional site for an NCAA game.

Regardless, the fan support has really been outstanding through so much disappointment and mediocrity. The fact that we continue to be among league and national leaders in attendance during such a long period of futility is one of the things that makes me most hopeful our program can be turned around.

The latest I heard from someone that is suppose to be friends with him is that he will fine for next year. Take it for what its worth. No, I do not have any other details. Just passing it on.

Thanks!

Finally, some good news...

You can't coach around long term injuries or life threatening, career ending conditions.
