He transferred from an NAIA school, not another NCAA one. He doesn't require a redshirt because of that. I don't know why he isn't playing.

Incorrect to transfer from NCAA to NAIA doesn’t require but to transfer into NCAA D1 it does. Like when Duncan Robinson transferred from D3 to D1 he had to sit out a year, but if it was reversed he wouldn’t have had to of sit out a year
