What to make of the Durham filing?

Well someone does need to Google whether or not Trump was aided by Russia in 2016. Forbes isn’t leftist, maybe you’ll trust them?
Neither is Robert Mueller a leftist. He testified under oath that the Russians led a campaign to swing the 2016 election in Trump's favor, and that the Trump campaign was receptive to help from the Russians. He also testified that it would be inaccurate to suggest there was no evidence of coordination between the Trump 2016 campaign and Russia.

Finally, a presumably non-leftist, Republican-led Senate intelligence committee's findings were similar to Mueller's.

You're either a trump worshiper or a leftist. That's the new line in the sand.

Go ahead and google it yourself. Trump wasn't 'aided by Russia' any more than Hilary was.

No, I don't trust Forbes any more than I do any other left leaning news source.

Mueller is a never-Trumper who had a Democrat team of lawyers.

He has produced no proof of any "help' from Russia. In fact, Hillary paid the Russians for the dossier.

You and HIckory are bat-shit crazy by continuing your narrative that has been proved false.

Why even engage with them it is a waste of time. They are 100% convinced like hilary is russia helped trump. They think hilary is pure as the driven snow and I am guessing don't think she did anything wrong. It's the definition of a left wing ideologue which both of them are.

You might want to read your own link.

"The report purposely does not state a final conclusion, as Mueller did and as the House intelligence committee’s 2018 report did, about whether there was sufficient evidence that Trump’s campaign coordinated with Russia to sway the election to him, leaving its findings open to partisan interpretation."

There has been no action detailed that whatever the Russians did helped Trump. However, we do know that Hillary and her campaign coordinated with Russians to produce the dossier.

Anyone who is sober realizes the dossier was far more damaging to Trump than any meetings Trump's people might have had with Russians.

I admit I like to feed their psychosis.

But the truth must be told. If we let them outshout us, others will accept it as fact. It's what we've let the media do in this country. We've got to call it out.

No doubt Russia is actively sowing division in our country through social media. And no doubt it benefited Trump more so than Hillary in 2016. However I dont think Trump was ever directly involved in it.

I cant find the link but recently read that 22 of the top 23 Christian conservative Facebook pages are proven to originate from Russia. And a big number of "left wing" pages come from the same place.

We are fighting each other with half truths and misinformation. Russia and China love it.

I saw all of those riots on all of the news channels for several months. It was terrible. I remember Joe Biden, the leader of the democratic party, condemning the violence and destruction and calling for those responsible to be prosecuted. So I don't know man. That's terrible what your family had to go through. What many families had to through. However your broad stroke doesn't land. Joe Biden has never been considered to be too lenient on crime. In fact quite the opposite. 94 crime bill as one example.
What I recall is Biden saying little or nothing until he could no longer completely ignore the situation without it having political consequences.

So you don't think Russians going to Trump Tower leading up to the election had anything to do with the election?

Trump was at the very least aware of it and ok with accepting their assistance (didn't report it). Whether he had any input into the operation is unknown.

You clearly don’t read Forbes- if you don’t read, then just continue to stick your head in the sand and please nominate Trump again. Us readers will whip him again. Sorry I wrote here, probably drug you away from Tucker podcasts

I realize you're not a fan of credible sources, danc, but here's a bit more information you should consider in the unlikely event you have moments of lucidity over the weekend. It's from a joint assessment provided by the CIA, FBI and NSA in a report released in January 2017 titled "Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections:"

"Russian efforts to influence the 2016 US presidential election represent the most recent expression of Moscow’s longstanding desire to undermine the US-led liberal democratic order, but these activities demonstrated a significant escalation in directness, level of activity, and scope of effort compared to previous operations. We assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election. Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump. We have high confidence in these judgments."

And back to the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee report. It is well documented (see the January 2017 report referenced above) that Putin ordered computer networks and accounts related to the Democratic Party to be hacked in order to leak damaging information about Clinton and help Trump’s campaign. WikiLeaks released the information hacked by Russian government intelligence operatives and, according to the final volume of the Senate Intelligence Committee report “the Trump Campaign sought to maximize the impact of those leaks to aid Trump’s electoral prospects.” The committee report said: “Staff on the Trump Campaign sought advance notice about WikiLeaks releases, created messaging strategies to promote and share the materials in anticipation of and following their release, and encouraged further leaks.”

Contrary to your baseless assertions, it is incontrovertible that Russia helped Trump in the 2016 election.

You recall wrong.

"On August 30, Joe Biden condemned violence at protests in Portland"

LMAO! The end of August? That shit had been going on all summer!

Someone finally woke Joe up and told him what to say.

Wait - according to @UncleMark no servers were "hacked".

Ooooo... Trump's campaign "sought advance notice"! Why, that's practically selling out the country!

You still can't name one instance where Russia! Russia! Russia! did anything that helped the Trump campaign. As your link said, it's open to 'partisan' interpretation.

But one thing we know for sure - the Clinton campaign paid for the Steele dossier that kicked off the Russian Collusion Hoax. It's clear the only link to the 2016 election and Russia is through Clinton.

Why do you lie repeatedly? The link makes it clear that he began publicly condemned the violence in May 2020 when it all started in Minneapolis.

He didn't say shit all summer. If he was constantly condemning the violence, it wouldn't be so easy to pick out the times he did.

No Democrat was coming out with complete condemnation because they didn't want to piss off their base. Just watch how CNN and MSNBC covered the 'mostly peaceful' riots.

It's astonishing, really. Your posts are almost always just a series of lies. First, the earlier discussion was about the server in Clinton's home in Chappaqua, not the DNC networks and accounts referenced in the Jan 2017 report I just cited.

Next, your allegation that the Steele dossier "kicked off" the Russia investigation is a bald-faced lie. Both Republicans and Dems have stated on the record that the investigation was triggered, in July 2016, by Trump Campaign Foreign Policy Advisor George Papadopolous' contacts with Russian intermediaries. The FBI didn't receive Steele's intelligence reporting until two months later (in mid-September 2016). Republican Trey Gowdy, then a member of the House Intelligence Committee, stated on Face the Nation in February 2018 that "I actually don't think it (the dossier) has any impact on the Russia probe." Gowdy mentioned other incidents that had nothing to do with the dossier, including Papadopoulos’ contacts and the June 9, 2016, Trump Tower meeting Donald Trump Jr. arranged with what he was told was a “Russian government attorney” offering incriminating information on Hillary Clinton. “So there’s going to be a Russia probe, even without a dossier," Gowdy said.

I've cited Mueller, the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee, the House Intelligence Committee, the CIA, FBI and NSA. What have you got? Nothing but "Danc's Fantasies, Fabrications and Fallacies." As usual.

Just because you missed it, doesn't mean it wasn't said.

Or are you one of those people that think no one can see them when they close their eyes?

Nothing happens when danc doesn't hear about it from his fake news sites.

Do you know how the DNC servers were hacked? Users opened e-mails with malicious code. Now, according to you computer experts, hacking an e-mail on Hillary's server isn't the same as hacking a server. So, which is it?

You've got reports by partisan hacks. That's it. Not a single example of how the Russians influenced anyone. Their goal was to spread uncertainty, and the Democrats were willing dupes in that effort.

Only one campaign conspired with the Russians to influence an election - the Democrats who paid for the Steele dossier.

I dont think Trump is aware of anything but himself. Possibly someone on his team had a hand though. A younger and smarter staff member. Trump himself? To old, to stupid, to self absorbed.

Also I dont think the Russians really care who wins. They just want us arguing.

There are good posters on this board from across the political spectrum. There are bad posters as well - - partisan hacks, goalpost-movers, trolls and idiots. Then there's you. You're in a class by yourself. You're a serial liar. You lie about anything and everything, and your volume of lies is truly staggering. You lie about what a poster said. You lie about the content in a link. You'll accuse a poster of an argument that another poster made. You claim to recall in detail what a poster said years ago, in some cases before the poster was even contributing to the Cooler. You present opinion as fact. You simply make up "facts." You claim to know what posters look like, whether they're men or just "pussies," and how ugly (and/or slutty) their wives, sisters or moms might be.

I realize that anonymity allows people to express themselves more recklessly and aggressively than they would if their name was attached to the writing, and what they post probably isn't always reflective of what kind of a person they really are. In your case, though, it's hard to imagine that you're anything more than a dick.

I just can’t understand why some folks will review never review reputable news sources besides the opinion of Tucker Carlson. I mean written facts about the US senate confirming that Russia aided the Trump campaign in 2016 exist everywhere like in the library of Congress- and still you want to see only half of facts- watch both MSNBC and Fox- or read- you’ll be amazed at the information that exists. If we share an IU degree, act a modicum of educated.

They are a joke. Here's a good article that sums up what we should all wish for as Durham goes through his investigation. The WSJ takes a very neutral look...

https://www.wsj.com/articles/durham...teele-mueller-abuse-power-sussman-11645221157
This is not an article- it's a clearly labelled opinion piece...

And it's highly unlikely you'll see any more of that tenor from the WSJ, due to developments this week...

Notice how other stories have replaced the claims that the Durham filing somehow indicted HRC? That's what happens when she hints at possible legal action AND in response Durham comes out and distances himself from the claims made by rightwing nuts...

Maybe they're wrong and the story will be all over the GOP media this week. But the threat of a lawsuit has a way of making people re-evaluate (baseless, unfounded) claims they want to throw around...
