Yeah, because Democrats were totally out calling for this stuff to stop. What happened on Jan. 6th was another in a line of just bad stuff that happened. But to act like it was a singular event as opposed to a chain of events is just disingenuous as all hell. "They attacked our democracy..." And the ****heads in the videos I posted did not? When all of that stuff was going on from the left I was consistently on the board saying that this stuff has to be called out because it will eventually lead to a similar response from the right. And shock of shocks, it did.
The Hillary team spent 4 years calling the 2016 election a fraud. They employed the U.S. intelligence services to advance a lie created by them. Frankly, I find that more concerning than pissed off citizens engaged in a one off riot. Particularly since it was the "wrong" citizens rioting. Its because we chose different news paths when Trump was in office. News that showed the violent summer riots, innocent conservatives being killed or beaten in the street in broad daylight, small businesses getting destroyed, courthouses vandalized to the point they looked like 3rd world countries, and on and on it went.
My neighbors sister moved from Indianapolis to Seattle to work for Amazon. Their apartment high rise grocery (bottom floor) was burned out and they had to leave their residence and building. They moved to another building and the same thing happened it was burned, looted and destroyed. They had to move again.
The msm never bothered to show that and even NADLER AND OTHER DEMS DENIED it was taking place. However, the left just looks the other way and it was much worse than anything that took place on the 6th. jus sayin Bulkie
I saw all of those riots on all of the news channels for several months. It was terrible. I remember Joe Biden, the leader of the democratic party, condemning the violence and destruction and calling for those responsible to be prosecuted. So I don't know man. That's terrible what your family had to go through. What many families had to through. However your broad stroke doesn't land. Joe Biden has never been considered to be too lenient on crime. But I looked at the dates, and while the supposed scandal may have some relevance to OZ, I can assure you it has absolutely nothing to do with anything in the Durham filing. You'll note there weren't any charges levelled in the Durham filing, and also nothing that was new since the original indictment of Sussmann. Of course you won't realize that if you get your "news" from the right wing blogosphere...
So right wing media would have you believe that Neustar (Joffe's company) was hired to spy on Trump. But the reality is that Neustar was contracted by the Obama Admin in 2014 to run ongoing security checks in response to suspicious Russian pings. Prior to that, neustar was noteworthy as the entity that allowed you to port your cell phone number from one cell company to another...

The tech experts felt that it warranted further investigation, and made the decision to bring the matter to the attention of the FBI, thru their attorney Sussmann. That meeting between Sussmann and FBI Counsel Baker occurred in Sept 2016, and the gist of the indictment vs Sussmann is that in a subsequent Feb 2017 meeting with the CIA he indicated contradictory information to what Baker claims he said originally...
Durham had to come up with a charge because his investigation was up against an expiring statute of limitations, so he claimed Sussmann lied about who he worked for when he met with Baker, and charged him with lying to the FBI. Sussmann has countered that Baker himself told contradictory versions of what he claimed Sussmann said, and that Baker even revised his story compared to what he originally told a fellow agent during the original debriefing. It's a really weak case- only the two men were present and nothing was recorded. Durham is basing his charge on Baker's notes, which were contradictory and not even easy to decipher...
It's really got nothing to do with Trump, other than Sussmann as the legal counsel for the Neustar tech experts being conneccted to the Clinton Campaign. But the tech execs reiterated to Durham at the time he filed the original indictment that his characterization that they didn't believe the contact was serious was not at all true, and that as a group they were unanimous that they felt the matter was serious enough to at least make the FBI aware of what they had uncovered. Again it's important to remember that this was during the Obama Presidency and the discoveries were made during the course of the ongoing monitoring they had been hired to do for the past 2 yrs.
