I'd expect TG and Newton to be spectators based on what CMW said this week.
What I don't want to see is the obligatory walking boot situation that pops up out of knowhere for someone not previously noted as being injured. That's getting very old.

I almost guarentee we will see two more out versus the exhibition game vs Marian. It's tradition for exhibitions.
If Newton can't heal it may be time to let him go. Can't have a scholarship taken up long-term by a kid who can't and may never be able to play.
This is true, but I remember Creek being very effective after he had an extra year to heal. He was still recovering the ylast year he played with us. He played 30 minutes per game at GW with good numbers.
I am okay giving him another year to heal with extra scholarships. Medical redshirt plus a regular redshirt year isn't too much time to wait to see if he can play.
It's a deep thigh bruise. Took a knee in practice.
