Greenberg claims it is not a goaltend by the UK player, because the ball was not on the rim. If that was truly the rule, every team would have some big guy shaking the goal until the ball got there. He is confused about the difference between messing with the goal itself and touching the ball when it is on the rim. The fact ESPN won't bother to correct him and it will do nothing but encourage more death threats to refs by the toothless....well....

Clearly a goaltend. Unfortunately Tennessee will
now lose the No.1 ranking after their UK contest.

It’s always the refs fault if UK loses. Always.

Yes......funny. All that bitching and it turns out that the UK player goal tended before the LSU player.

I do think, however, that the "tip in" goal tend call is routinely missed.........very rarely called when it should be.

Learn the rules. It was stated that UK did not goal tend because EJ's hand when through the rim before the ball got to the board. No matter what you want, UK did not goal tend. You can verify on sports center or the SEC network for the facts. Fake news.
