I’m wrapping up work in a few and then it’s gym time. 3 sets of 10 pull ups and my fave part of today is pushing 80lb dumbbells. It’s gonna be lit.

We have one of those at our neighborhood playground and I feel the vertigo when I’m sober lol.

We are on Day 2 of snow days with daycare closed today. I think we’re both going crazy.. which is why I had to chance my injury yesterday and keep him busy.

That’s 🔥🔥🔥. I’ve got lifting down to 15-20 minutes a day. Only week days. 4 sets of bench. 4 sets of tris. Next day. 4 sets of standing military press at the squat rack. Great for your back lol. 4 sets of curls. Done. That’s it.

Man be careful with that back on those standing military press. I’d rather see you using an adjustable bench at 90 degrees and using dumbbells.

My biceps are the only muscles in my body that routinely get aggravated and I do almost nothing for them. Curls are for the girls and I can’t do them.

I know. I’m showing my age as I don’t know what they call them now but I used to do Arnold’s with dumbbells for shoulders. But I started getting wobbly. I even use a curl bar instead of dumbbells for curls.

As for routinely getting aggravated that’s awful and annoying. I’m getting hurt constantly playing soccer. No one is near me. Just constantly feel like I’m pulling shit. Getting old sucks.

I have to admit, with my recent life changing events, I’m a bit depressed!
I expected much more liberal carpet soaking crying events followed by how massively ‘ist (race…, mysogin…, elite… ) MAGA is.
Just proves the point, everything lib progressive does, is a total disappointment! They simply can’t make anyone happy.

It’s like they can’t understand why anyone couldn’t get behind an 18 yr old, 4’11” 300lb guy with a pecker, should be perceived normal, when he is buying tampons for himself (just in case IT starts), yet women can’t figure out that sex causes babies and they should plan accordingly.
I’m not sure what to do with this world. Would a total economic collapse like the 1930’s be enough to put sanity back in charge? Darwinism thin the herd? Is that the answer?

I just hope the Father of Medicine, RFK, Jr., and Co don’t eff around with vax requirements in schools. My assumption is that they will in an attempt to give more funding to private schools.
If your kids are vaccinated then what's the problem if someone else's isn't?

So far it looks like people are most happy with telling all of those freeloading seniors that they ought to go back to paying $300 for their insulin instead of $30. I mean, it's pricey stuff, costing Lilly and others a good $3 to make it, by now long off-patent methods. Can't expect them to operate on only a 1000% markup. Need to go back to 10000%, for sure. CEO needs a new Ferrari.

Google the concept of herd immunity, or pick up your kids middle school biology textbook.
I have a bachelor's in Biology. Most of my career has been as a microbiologist in food and pharmaceuticals. I know what herd immunity is.

The percentage of anti-vaxxers is probably low enough the threshold for herd immunity will be met anyway.

As a side note one of my sisters is a Trump hater and anti-vaxxer. Quit putting people in neat little boxes.

There’s no interest with drug development and investing in fixing the problem. Everything focused on recurring revenue and customer LTV.

Until that changes, consider me skeptical. I’m much more bullish on medical devices.

I did explain how tariffs work, since Trump's rubes keep believing his nonsense that he is somehow able to collect money from foreign countries via tariffs.

No, if Amazon wants to sell you a rug made in India and there's a 20% tariff, Amazon pays it, then Amazon raises its prices to you for the item by at least 20%, or (more likely) raises prices on everything they sell by a lesser amount. They don't just "take one for the team".

It's not a particularly hard concept.

I’ve had shingles - had it at 38 and it sucked ass.
Had shingles in my 30s while going through my divorce. Sucked balls and it wasn't even that bad of a case. Had it again in my mid 40s, very mild case. Doc told me that the second time was like hitting the lottery and chances of a 3rd case would be like me sleeping with a super model on a regular basis.
