2 1/2 years, $40 million dollars, and a team full of Democrat lawyers later...... nothing.
"could have likely" "no telling"....... convincing proof you there, professor.
I'm not defending him, but no need to make shit up.No reason to defend Trump. No bank in this country would do business with the guy for decades. Deutsche has a reputation for a reason.
Russia has only energy. Trump had the US in a dominating energy posture. Biden took our foot off the gas for Putin’s benefit . Trump pushed NATO to counter Russia 4 years ago. Trump wanted to establish permanet military bases in Eastern Europe. You guys laughed then, now NATO is scrambling to pick up Trump policy.Senior moment?

Biden promised often to end the fossil fuel industry. So has several cabinet secretaries. The Biden administration will shortly unleash 500+ pages of securities and banking regulations for the sole purpose of making it more difficult for the oil industry to raise capital and borrow money. Other parts of the federal government are dreaming up production red tape as are all blue state governments. The market might be free, but US production is bound up in ball-crushing red tape and regulations. We've talked about this before. The disinvestment in US energy started several years ago. Contrary to your beliefs.... who is in the WH has only ancillary (at best) impact upon the domestic energy industry.....as we operate in a free market. Not a govt controlled energy market. You continually posting otherwise doesn't change that fact that energy company bankruptcies were at an all time high a few years ago. Trump couldn't even save the coal companies that bet their existence on him from BK.
By your less than nuanced measure, Obama would have been the best energy president in history.... with the massive expansion in shale drilling under his tenure.
Every President would love to have cheap gas prices. World doesn't work in such a simplistic way.
Anyone who thinks government policy doesn't greatly affect US energy industry is a fool.Biden promised often to end the fossil fuel industry. So has several cabinet secretaries. You have no idea what you are talking about.500 pages? Lol. I have single Fed contracts on my desk for things so obscure they are irrelevant that are longer than 500 pages.
You know absolutely nothing about raising capital for energy production, quit pretending. The idea that the govt is in the way is totally absurd. The capital LEFT.... as it was a shitty investment for 14 years.
Energy is the worst performing sector of the SP500 over the last decade by a country mile.
Yep.Anyone who thinks government policy doesn't greatly affect US energy industry is a fool.

LOL. What? Stay in one place, at least!Russia has only energy. Trump had the US in a dominating energy posture. Biden took our foot off the gas for Putin’s benefit . That might be. But Biden is still planning to regulate the he’ll out of O&G capital and borrowing.Great non-response. You have nothing.
Oh yeah. I forgot you constant,y burden discussions with that goalpost thingy.LOL. What? Stay in one place, at least!
The one moving the goalpost is the burden, not the one flustered by it.Oh yeah. I forgot you constant,y burden discussions with that goalpost thingy.

The defense of Trump would carry more weight if they were capable of at least putting together a coherent argument.Administrations come and go.... they have have little impact on global energy prices.
Can you explain your original post about "Putin's henchmen"? I still can't understand where you were going with that.
Unrestricted US production would have downward pressure on price of oilAdministrations come and go.... they have little impact on global energy prices.

I’m talking about Biden using Putin’s henchmen as our agents in the JCPOA talks. Russia is playing us and Biden let’s them.
Remember when Trump threatened tariffs on German autos? That was the leverage he used to negotiate an agreement for Germany to build more LNG Ports to receive US exports. Biden shit-canned those negotiations and took sanctions off of Nordstrom II. Now Germany is scrambling. Yesterday Germany temporarily nationalized some of Gazprom’s NG units to ensure its NG supply. Trump saw this coming 4 years ago.But it's inherently a German problem. How you put their dependence upon Russian energy on Biden is quite a stretch.
Putin is leveraging his unique position in the JCPOA negotiations as way to partial sanctions relief. That is not long term. Reporting is that Biden‘s brain trust has agreed because Biden, like Obama ( Who might be calling the shots) is hell-bent on an agreement with the Mullahs. This is pissing off not only Israel but some of the Arab states as well. A few weeks ago, the Saudis wouldn’t even accept a phone call from the President of the United States.JCPOA is a longer term security issue. What dots are you trying to connect? Please explain that we are using Putin’s henchmen?

You must have been asleep the first year of Biden's Presidency. It has about as much impact as an official during a basketball game. You guys put way too much weight on the impact of Feds. It's about $
We are the biggest oil producer in the world but US producers don't even break even until oil is above $60. Considering higher input costs as we sit today from materials and labor.. it's likely closer to $70. There are better ways to make money in this country than betting on that. If global oil stays priced at $100+.... then plenty of people and capital will rush back. It's just basic economics.
We could import a bunch of immigrant labor and that would lower input costs.... but nobody wants to do that either.
You could have this same discussion with housing. We've got a big shortage.... and everyone agrees it's too expensive. But at the same time you don't want to bring the cheap labor in to build houses. Is anyone shocked that we spent 4 years greatly reducing immigration and now we can't do and buy all the shit we expect for as cheap as we expect it?
I'm laughing now. Are you talking about the proposed "Fort Trump" in Poland? That plan fell apart while Trump was still president.Trump wanted to establish permanet military bases in Eastern Europe. You guys laughed then,
Right. The Democrats and the press always use the “world market” dodge to claim Democrat policies have no effect on the price of petroleum. History tells us otherwise. While there is a world market, U S energy policy is a big influence on the market. You must have been asleep the first year of Biden's Presidency.
Stopping the pipeline and canceling energy contracts signaled to energy producers that the government was going to tighten their grip and not allow the exploration and movement of oil as was allowed under Trump. The futures contracts jumped.
You are whistling past the graveyard.
Inappropriate laughter makes you sound like Kamala.I'm laughing now. Are you talking about the proposed "Fort Trump" in Poland? That plan fell apart while Trump was still president.
U.S.-Polish Fort Trump project crumbles
Fort Trump appears to have fallen. Poland's grand proposal in 2018 to name a military base in honor of Donald Trump, in return for the U.S. president placing a permanent presence there, has crumbled amid disputes over how to fund the deployment and where to garrison the...www.reuters.com

Your non-responsive post makes you appear weak-minded. And the Polish president playing to Trump's narcissism by proposing to name the base after him is absolutely hilarious.Inappropriate laughter makes you sound like Kamala.
No surprise Mas added his blessing to this gibberish, as he already posted his own nonsense earlier...2 1/2 years, $40 million dollars, and a team full of Democrat lawyers later...... nothing.

Isn't it amazing how you can find all this out but Mueller and his highly paid and motivated team of Democrats couldn't?No surprise Mas added his blessing to this gibberish, as he already posted his own nonsense earlier...
"I'm seeing the result of decades of money laundering and plundering of US citizens' tax dollars involving oligarchs colluding with bagmen like Hunter Biden, criminal actions which have been concealed by their minions in world establishment media.
These corrupt, perverse bastards have shoved the American people into a corner of unsustainable energy costs, labor shortages, runaway inflation, FOOD SHORTAGES (in the ****ing United States,!),
and now to the brink of nuclear war. All of it to cover up the crimes against the American people by the political ilk of both Parties, led for almost three decades by such as the Clintons, O'Blamo, McCain and Wolf and McConnell....miss Lindsey, Romney, etc.
Ukraine is of prime national interest to RUS. Ukraine is of NO national interest to the US."
Interesting how Mas just omits the "decades" of the 80s and 90s when Ukrainian/Russian Mafia figures first emerged and initially got their claws into both Giuliani and Trump. It's no accident that Giuliani's political base in Brooklyn formerly known as Brighton Beach became known as "Little Odessa" to coincide with the formerly Soviet (now Ukrainian) power brokers who both he and Trump were beholden to. I don't know if HB engaged in money laundering/plundering of US tax dollars as Mas claims or not. But if he did he was just following the pathway established by Trump and Giuliani which fueled Trump's lifestyle and Rudy's political aspirations...
It's disingenuous of you to infer that the Mueller investigation even investigated Trump's prior dealings with Russian oligrachs and somehow "cleared" him. The Mueller investigation was limited in scope to events of 2015-16 and Russian influence in the 2016 election. It had nothing to do with the open secret that is Trump's longstanding relationship to Russian mobsters. The poster you initially replied to with your dismissal of Mueller mentioned DB- which had nothing to do with 2016.
You're basically just deflecting. Is it possible you don't know about Trump/DB? That in itself would be strange since DB announced in the twilight of Trump's presidency that they were severing their long time relationship with him...A relationship dating back to when he desperately needed money and had burned so many bridges ripping contractors and bankers off that no one else was willing to risk loaning him money...

An interesting read on his even earlier relationship with Russian mobsters...
"A review of the public record reveals a clear and disturbing pattern: Trump owes much of his business success, and by extension his presidency, to a flow of highly suspicious money from Russia. Over the past three decades, at least 13 people with known or alleged links to Russian mobsters or oligarchs have owned, lived in, and even run criminal activities out of Trump Tower and other Trump properties. Many used his apartments and casinos to launder untold millions in dirty money. Some ran a worldwide high-stakes gambling ring out of Trump Tower—in a unit directly below one owned by Trump.
Others provided Trump with lucrative branding deals that required no investment on his part. Taken together, the flow of money from Russia provided Trump with a crucial infusion of financing that helped rescue his empire from ruin, burnish his image, and launch his career in television and politics. “They saved his bacon,” says Kenneth McCallion, a former assistant U.S. attorney in the Reagan administration who investigated ties between organized crime and Trump’s developments in the 1980s."

But yet you literally are in love with another colossal failure. Did you see the Trump list of business failures in the other thread? Was quite a long list.
The Bush's were not our friends.
I haven't read that thread nor would I even waste my time. I've been in business 40 years. There's a long list of failures and success. Without those failures how could I have become better. And I take full advantage of every damn law especially back in the days of telemarketing. Every successful business person has some trash on their resume and the billionaires? I can only imagine. Whatever failures Trump had he's still a billionaire. But yet you literally are in love with another colossal failure. Did you see the Trump list of business failures in the other thread?
