Yessir. We went to New Orleans for y2k. One buddy didn’t pack a bag. Same outfit for 36 hours and back to Chicago. As he was boarding the plane I noticed he had a footprint on the middle of his back

There's no good business reason for them to delete the forums on July 1. I don't think they will. But the best posters will be gone then. I don't know how many of them are paying, but I do know that none of them will ever give On3 one red cent.

Completely different setup and back end and format. IIUC, Rivals is going away completely. It will be replaced by On3. I doubt seriously they would make the effort to import anything from the existing Rival forums.

Won't be me. I'm old and retired. I never see midnight and sure as hell don't see 6:00am. The new youngsters will be running the show.
From all appearances, the vast vast majority of the sports board posters are going to follow @SammyJacobs and @TJ Inman to Hoosier Huddle. Nary a good word about On3 or Jim Coyle to be had.

That was what they implied, and I'm prepared for it, but the official notice was that Rivals members will be given access to On3, and vice versa, not that either property will be immediately deprecated.
(Obviously, I have opinions about what to expect that line up more with what you're saying; just pointing out it's not set in stone.)
Sammy has been kicked to the curb. There's no way they will keep this site and the On3 site both going. Who would be running this one?
Coyle, obviously. You have one guy run both properties. I assume they'd do that with all the teams that have site on both networks.
I've already started saving LTF content on my hard drive for posterity's sake. If anyone has a favorite post to save, let me know, and I'll try to do it and eventually upload it to the HOF.
There were also a lot of complaints about that... And he later did say he's still considering importing them at a later time. Regardless all the boards will be subscription only... And this place will be gone.
Well, then, I guess we have four groups:
1. the guys who become On3 members
2. the guys who migrate to the new HH
3. the guys who simply back off into the IC only
4. the guys who we will lose touch with and disappear
I don't know at this point if my hatred is rational or irrational. But it's there. Always.

My daughter (a dancer) friggin' loves these. I don't mind it as much as other things tbh. It does get old. Pretty crazy that she had three hits in succession and I had no idea who she was a year ago.
She wants everybody in her tribe treated a certain way and then treats most everybody else like complete shit. Garbage human.
She white knights a lot of LGBTQ+ shit. Gatekeeps. Snaps at people asking questions which could be anything other than laudatory or outside established narratives.
Shouts people down. That kinda shit. Uses her platform to demonize those who don't think exactly as she does. I don't know why but it just rubs me the wrong way. Probably b/c i'm old now.
