It’s NEVER a good idea to blame your customers.
I'm assuming that most people on the free board are not paying customers, but are fans gaining free information about IU hoops. I'll take the bad with the good, and get off my high horse and enjoy the info.
It’s my opinion it would certainly curtail how many persons might sign up for the paid deluxe edition since it suffers similar issues. Posters on both boards ride peoples’ asses for unpopular comments or getting facts and figures wrong. Most people just want to go to the board, check on the team, try to have a little fun from a hard day, write their thoughts on something and go about their business. How does it help either board if you know you’re just gonna get crap from someone? I used to be a paying member but no more.
Jordan is in his right to run his board as he sees fit but just from an optics p.o.v. it’s still bad business to lay blame on his readers. Just my opinion.
As far as the free info, it’s all stuff that filters down eventually somewhere but it is nice to go to one spot and have it consolidated. Thanks.
