Lanes after the "Camping World" campgrounds!!!!!!

Edey has a permanent reservation camping out in the lanes!!!!!!!

Update: This is from the 2022-23 NCAA Official Rules Book

Section 9. Three Seconds in the Lane
Art. 1. The three-second lane is the area in the frontcourt that is bounded by
and includes the end line, the free-throw lane lines and the free-throw line, and
includes such lines.

Art. 2. It is a violation for a player to have any part of the body remain in the
three-second lane for more than three consecutive seconds while the ball is in
control of that player’s team in his frontcourt.
a. The three-second violation rule is not in effect when a team is in control
of the ball for a throw-in.

Art. 3. The three-second count is suspended when a player who, having
been in the three-second lane for less than three seconds, dribbles or moves in
immediately to try for field goal. The player shall not pass the ball instead of
trying for goal, In this case, it is a violation when a player exceeds three seconds
in the lane and there is no try for goal.

The "FRONTCOURT" definition below is the key to this rule.
So the point being... if the ball handler is below the free throw line,
a player can camp out in the lane as long as they want. There is no
3 second rule. That needs to be changed!!!!!

Another reason Painter better be careful what he asks for when asking for officials to call their games more tightly.

Edey has had 3 obvious offensive fouls, swinging his off arm to create room for his jump hook. All it will take is some SEC official to call it by the rule book, and he'll get into foul trouble. And if you take those leading elbows out of his bag, he becomes much more guardable.

I don't understand why Painter made officiating Edey any type of a media point. Edey had been getting away with murder: why poke the bear? If Painter wants the game properly officiated (and it will be in the NCAA's), it goes both ways.

Yall know who reffed their game today right!? That same racist midget pos that screwed IU and PU over in their previous losses! Unfortunately, he helped PUke get the easy blowout today!

I didn't see this game but this sounds consistent with what we have all witnessed all season...Furst as well. Painter is taking risks kicking this sleeping dog IMO.

Perhaps 3-second calls will become an officiating point of emphasis for a season soon.
Is it possible to make these types of complaints to the NCAA, not that they’d be heard of course.

I’m thoroughly sick of the fact that every player complains to the refs after a foul is called on them. Ex: Illinios @ Indiana, Dain Dainja was called for a three second call, I rewatched the play and he spent at least eight seconds in the lane. After the turnover, he threw a fit that the turnover was called. I liked when a player just raised his hand and then didn’t talk to the refs or throw his arms up in the air, like ”not me!”.
