Do you have a basketball player in your life you want to help reach another level? The state of Indiana has been a haven for it over the years but, Shooting the basketball has become a lost art. Todd Leary was, is and always will be a "shooter" and he wants to see it return. So, he has started MyJumpShot.com. The "ToddFather," as he is playfully known by listeners from his appearances on ISB Radio's Indiana basketball post-game show "After the Game with Todd Leary" and on ISBR's daily radio show, won an Indiana state title at Lawrence North (Indy) HS before arriving in Bloomington in 1989 along with arguably one of the greatest recruiting classes in Indiana basketball history. He was a tough minded player with the ability to hit tough shots for Bob Knight on a team full of guys who would do it if you couldn't.

Todd held the Big Ten consecutive Free Throws Made record for more than 20 years and was a career 42.3% Three Point shooter in college at Indiana.

The 1992 NCAA Tournament and Final Four, one of the greatest ever, is a great example for the Indianapolis product. After #1 seeded Duke edged #2 Kentucky 104-103 in OT, on Christian Laettner's memorable buzzer beating shot, the Blue Devils, with Grant Hill & Bobby Hurley, would face a #2 Indiana team fresh off of beating #1 UCLA 106-79 for the chance to play for the biggest prize in college basketball. Indiana fans will always remember two names from The 1992 Final Four semi-final game vs Duke; Official "TV" Teddy Valentine and Todd Leary. Valentine, had many run-ins with Bob Knight and the Hoosiers and his "loose" whistle would help send 4 IU players to the bench with 5 fouls and IU trailing by 9 with less than a minute to play. But in 25 seconds Todd Leary would hit three 3-pt shots for the Hoosiers. After Leary's 3-pt trilogy CBS' Billy Packer said "This is legendary," while Jim Nantz said "This is Hoosiers. This is the movie coming to life." Unfortunately, it wasn't quite that as Indiana had the ball, but didn't see Leary, who was wide open for a try at a 4th straight triple, and the quest for a 4th banner for Knight and 6th for the Hoosiers fell 3 points shy.

If you or someone you know is serious about wanting to be the best shooter they can be, visit MyJumpShot.com or email him at Toddball30@gmail.com!
