Minn. It was so unusual that Mal said that was the first time he had lost a commit. In more recent times, IU has lost a few commitments and also flipped a few, but not many, maybe a couple per class. Now it seems that about half of our prospects have already committed somewhere, some soft, some now decommitted. Same is true at UL (I read the CJ). They have 14 prospects coming in this weekend and many if not most have committed somewhere else. And UL has lost its share of commits as well. I'm sure the same is true at many other schools. Decommitment and flipping have suddenly reached epidemic proportions. This is something new, at least in numbers. I presume it is the beginning of a trend.
