Some Positive NIL News

Hiring a high school coach is not normal for most B1G programs.

God, I'm gonna tear this argument up...

Gus Malzahn coached high school before college. So did Butch Davis. Barry Alvarez coached high school. Lloyd Carr coached high school. Jimmy Johnson coached high school.

But to top it all off, Urban Meyer started his coaching career coaching as a position coach at St. Xaviers in Ohio I believe.

People need to stop with this high school stuff. He hasn't coached high school since 2006. I mean, who's the last coach for us that got us to two back to back January bowl games?

Injuries is why they lost 38-3 against Rutgers at home. Got it.

Yeah, it was.

We didn't have a running game that Rutgers had to respect. McCulley couldn't throw the ball and Tuttle shouldn't have been in the game to begin with with his foot.

Hard to win a game when you can't make a simple hand off.

Dude, it’s IU football. It is the doormat and is being run like it will never change.

Glad you were able to catch the postgame. It’s also hard when your sideline is in a brawl. I remember because I was sitting in the front row behind the bench in the rain.

Parents complain about the coach on every sports team, but instead of backing him Glass threw him under the bus.
He should have been thrown under the bus for what he did. Absolutely. They knew parents had a very good case for a lawsuit.

It’s like our fans don’t understand. Mike Leach is similar to Wilson. Wilson couldn’t hold leaches jockstrap and he got canned for just one incident. Texas Tech didn’t care he was the winningest coach in school history. When it comes to concussion protocol/medical stuff you don’t mess with it. Opens up big litigation. They can call them weak if they want.

Yup. I know one of the players involved. And his dad. It wasn’t a joke and he wasn’t soft.

Yup!! $1.2m reasons.
Great gig, OC for the Bucks with all that skilled talent. Makes perfect sense.

You're a fool if you think Wilson doesn't want to be a head coach again. He's a oc at Ohio State in name alone.

Akron was rumored to be looking at him last year with their opening. They chose Morehead. He's not staying at State because of money.

He had 0 winning seasons at IU and only finished .500 once. Why do you care?

Let's see. He's been paid top $ as an OC for 6 years by 2 different HC's but he's not an OC. OK. Wow, I'll be the fool.

He's not calling the plays.
No shit. I spose you think that's a big deal. KW does game planning, schemes and matchups. That's an OC's big function too. Nothing wrong with a HC opting to call his own offensive or defensive plays. The combination for the Buckeyes works pretty good

Kevin Wilson is the only one responsible for Kevin Wilson's career path. He was given every opportunity to succeed at Indiana and he and he alone blew it.
Fred tried to help KW but was forced to manage the due process and escort him out. Ahia has different standards and he fit well there.
