Ha!!!! I played last night and injured myself. Directly behind my knee. I was about 40 yards away from the ball
Reconstruction or are we just going to continue putting it off

Asking for a friend. I mean, myself.

The Fernandes, Eriksen (full beard mode), Casemiro midfield is…..fulfilling to watch. Fernandes is a spazz, Eriksen looks like he’s gone full Pirlo. Casemiro is brutal and world class. And smarter than just about everyone on the field.

Just in control. Shoulda been 5-0 today. Harry Kane probably punches himself in the dick every time he thinks about not angling to get to United.

Yeah, I stayed up and watched it for some unknown reason. Acosta was out for FCC and they have no depth right now.

Brutal to have an own goal off the back of your head.
Having the majority of games kick off at the same time doesn’t seem like a good model to increase viewership. And my Apple TV is a total pain. It’s the only streaming service I have that constantly has issues

I had problems too with Apple TV Saturday. I even saw people on Twitter in Brazil and Argentina having the same issue, while others claimed they had no problems. It did work on my computer (i.e., not using the app) so I watched the first half sitting at my desk. You'd think I would have just gone to bed at halftime.

Sadly, my sidekick only got to watch the end of the Crew game given the delayed start of FCC. But that was fun as we got to see Bruce Arena blowing a gasket when the 5 minutes of extra time turned into 8 with Columbus scoring in the final seconds. Probably the only time I would root for Columbus - except maybe when they play NYRB.

I do like that you can listen to the home team radio broadcasters while watching. I just wish they would expand it to allowing for both teams' broadcasts. Some of the MLS announcers are less exciting than listening to the morning farm report.

That is hilarious. I haven’t checked out a radio broadcast

I'm talking about listening to the radio broadcast synced to the video feed on TV. Basically, FCC's radio announcers are simply replacing Apple TV's announcers on my television.
If Stl isn’t the best team in mls I trust it will be very soon. I think there’s still a designated player spot open and other openings. Anyway Stl coach and sporting director seem brilliant and I don’t know why others haven’t done what we do. Play like maniacs. Press the hell out of the other team until they make a shitty pass and when we get the ball play direct.

The style exploits the all too many shitty players that are still in mls. I’ve watched a couple games and I absolutely hate it but it’s ideal for mls

2009-2011 Barcelona was soccer perfection. Stl City is the polar opposite

I absolutely love always sunny tho. I think I read that league 2 has fair play rules that will limit their ability to buy their way up

With their increased following, I am sure they will 'negotiate' City-type sponsorship deals. Reynolds is a marketing genius -- he understands commercially his star power and has a knack for picking winners.

Can you feckin' believe that City has the highest revenues in the world? Bigger than RM, Barca and United? Despite being perennial League winners, I barely see any City shirts here in SG.

ETH's new experiment with Dalot:

Hopefully, ETH will have some patience next season and slowly integrate this kid into the squad -- on loan at Sunderland. They love him there:

A combo of Antony and Bruno and only 20.

@mcmurtry66

If you had his first touch & close control you would be known as the 'Messi of St Louis' if not the States.

My first touch and close control are already known as the best in St Louis. The problem was I ran about a 6.0 40 yard dash

Saw him cutting into the middle. AWB might actually be dangerous going forward some day (dare to dream).

Dalot can receive a pass and play out of the back. Back up DM in the future?

Maybe with dalot. He can get beaten with pace on the RB and has a brainfart and misses out on his assignment occasionally.
He's a jack of all trades. Don't know if he reads the game well enough to fit Infront of the back 4 atthis stage of his career.
I think ETH will get a specialised DM like a caseido/Brighton to eventually replace casemiro.

ETH knows what he's doing, especially defensively (jury's out on Antony and Sancho though I know the latter wasn't his move). But Lisandro gotdamn Martinez. And Casemiro? And Lindleof isn't a disaster.

And AWB is seeing the field again (can he grow two inches, gain 15 lbs and be a CB please).
