. . . what do y'all think her political future might be? Is she stepping aside at what she perceives might be the highest point of the Trump administration in a way designed to keep her from being tainted by any adverse occurrences during Trump's last two years? Is she taking a break so she can come back as Secretary of State or some other cabinet position if Pompeo other cabinet member stumbles, burns out? Is she setting up a run for the GOP nomination in 2020 if Trump for some reason doesn't run? How about 2024? Might she replace Pence on the Trump ticket in 2020 in an effort to get a fresh face in there and potentially extend the Trump administration by 4 to 8 years? I've long thought that VPs who remain in the administration for more than one term get limited in their perceived potential by being No. 2 for so long . . .

. . . Haley's move seems to be a pretty astute one to me . . . anybody heard anything that might suggest a more concrete reason for her departure?
