One suggestion is to make them sell the Chrome browser.

Even if they are capable of pulling it off, having them divest from the Chrome browser is useless theater. Now breaking up search, mail, Android, and Chrome, that might be interesting. I have no faith in the Feds in their anti-trust efforts. They had their chance with MSFT back in the 90s and wilted.

You have to realize that the government lawyers going against lawyers from big companies is probably like someone with a BB gun going into battle against someone with an automatic weapon. :)

Sounds potentially detrimental to users/customers and their experience.
 
It makes sense to break the different Alphabet BU's off into their own companies. Google isn't just a monopoly, it's actually a few monopolies in one. Search, Video (youtube), email they all hold a monopolistic market share in each.

Lina Kahn has been so anti- M&A and I think that's actually warranted with most of the Magnificent 7. Where she has gotten it wrong is not allowing large companies outside the magnificent 7 to make acquisitions.
