And the Trump party is certainly not conservative. Not full on progressive but more so than the old GOP. It might be a party I could support if they would get rid of the douchebag in charge of it.

With all the double jerking dudes off motion, getting played off stage to YMCA, and fellating microphone stands, Trump was sending dog whistles to latently gay conservative dudes to let out all that pent up frustration and let their freak flags fly. When Tucker told them they'd all get spankings from Daddy Trump for being naughty it was virtually guaranteed they'd come out in strong numbers and the election was effectively sealed.

You and @Aloha Hoosier need to leave the party. You aren’t republicans. One of rfk jr’s biggest things is the war machine. They are going to be more protectionist etc. they’re appealing to blue collar old working class Dems. There’s been a realignment. Pubs almost look like the Dems of the 90s.
That’s okay. I guarantee there are still many who feel like you guys. Maybe a new iteration of the Dem party will fill that void and you can become Dems. I don’t know. But there is no purging maga etc. that’s the Republican Party

I’m not a D and never have been. I’m just not MAGA and never will be. I’m right of center who is fiscally conservative and have a libertarian streak when it comes to letting people live their own lives. I also strongly support law and order. Hell I’ve worked for 2 different R governors.

I don't think there exists 'Trumpism' as any set of policies or guiding principles other than 'elect Trump' . And his coattails didn't seem all that great in previous elections to get Republicans in. This time though - since the Democrats have been so bad and bankrupt - many voters changed ships.
If we had to get Trump, to get the sea change, I'm OK with it.
Be interesting to see who controls the Repub party after four more years. Or if there's a coherent set of ideas being followed. I'd hope they'd be libertarian principles, but don't expect it. The RINOs certainly aren't, and I hope they stay defeated. But 'Trumpism' isn't either, it's just a bit better than the liberal authoritarianism.

All joking aside, Trump did manage to get 45% of the hispanic vote. The GOP needs to try their damnedest to repeat that if they plan on winning national elections in the future.
