the B1G goes out with a whimper. Meat chicken lost to Louisville and Maryland loses to Connecticut. Too bad Rutgers didn't get a shot. Not sure how they would have done but they were a tough out. They had a good hitting club with decent pitching. Oh well, the slate is clean and it is on to next year for the Big Ten.

The Terps came through the loser's bracket to force tonight's game with UConn. Louisville came through the loser's bracket to take two games from Michigan to win it after UM put the Cards in the loser bracket earlier. UM got pounded yesterday, 20-1, by the Cards and then, tell me if this sound familiar to IU fans, the Wolverines led 9-7 going into the 8th and they got the first two batters of the 8th for two outs on the Cards, and then proceeded to give up four runs in the inning to lose the game 11-9. Every team loses games after leading late, but it seems like we had more than our share this season.

All 11 runs scored by UL yesterday were with 2 outs.

And the Okie State game over the weekend where they trailed 12-0 or something similar....and came back to win 29-15....was our Iowa game to a tee.
