Rona J Trump

I read this evening that there were several indoor receptions at the White House last Saturday too. The outdoor part was just the ceremony.

Anyway, the deck of cards is slowly closing in on Pence at the Covid Barett super-spreader event:

Nah. You clearly don't see irony when it hits you in the face.

As mentioned before its tough to evoke empathy for a lying, racist, who has been responsive for the deaths of thousands of people.

Once you can bridge that chasm, get back to me.

Literally everyone sees the irony. What do you think you’re making some high minded jokes or something?

Reasonable people can disagree on whether Trump is a racist, but that’s besides the point.

You’re being an asshole. If all goes well, Trump will be back to full strength in a couple weeks and you can resume your juvenile barbs. But for now, why not try and show a a bit of decency even if you think it’s something Trump would never afford to you?

Or is more demonization and politicization something you think America desperately needs right now?

Are you sure that you're farva? 😇

Been in a coma the past four years? Where were you when he was and still is doing his spiel of dog-whistling, inciting violence and the intentionally dispensing misinformation on the Covid pandemic?

He has blood on his hands.

He is only one worthless grifter's life -- where are you for all the 200,00+ that died under his watch -- and the tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths caused by Trump?

Stop drinking the Koolaid and maybe you can see clearly.

Right now you sound doped up like a fool.

Any President that resided over a pandemic this infectious and this deadly would be accused by their political opponents of being a murderer. That is the unfortunate, cynical reality of American politics these days.

You can make much a more compelling case for the blood that Whitmer and Cuomo have on their hands.

You are viewing the world through a political lense and I hope that one day you can view a person for who they are outside of politics.

You’ve been exceptionally active the last 24 hours. It’s almost like something has happened that has gotten you really excited.

You used to be a liberal but easy going jokester one this board. Like many Trump has turned you vindictive and spiteful, it’s not a good look.

Sometimes to get your point across you have to hit the targeted audience with a proverbial 2x4.

We, Trump and the Trump anti Covid machine have a long overdue and well deserved 'I told you so' coming.

Like I said before, I want him to survive but I also want him to get really scared and a little f#$ked up so he stops hurting our response.

Of course Fox looks to be going with the 'we're all going to get it so just let it happen' pivot so it's probably going to make things worse.

That's true that any president would be called a murderer from the opposing party, but one especially does when our world scoreboard looks like Archie Miller's first game against ISU.

(sorry, if you know me I'm a believer in Arch, just couldn't think of a more shocking blowout/ass kicking).

Trump's only defense is to tell us made up numbers of hypothetical deaths.

Yeap. But that won't stop him from claiming victory over the most deadly virus ever known. The biggest victory ever!

It will be another excuse for postponing the election or the results being rigged since he had the Rona. Not fair.
I think he will go the opposite way. I could see Trump saying that it wasn't that big of a deal and that he survived just fine at age 74. Let's get the economy rolling again!

Its amazing that there is so little trust in the man despite only having told 22,000 lies in public that one can question his motivations.
I have a doctor friend of mine here who pinged me today and who suspects that he is faking it.

12,000 miles away and people are so cynical about anything he does. What an advertisement for the country.

He can also argue I got I survived I now have antibodies, etc. Joe is pushing 80 and God only knows what would happen if he got it. Then we could possibly end up with President Kamala which no one wants. Not sure how effective that will be but that's likely the angle they will play.

That’s why I reserve the right to feel however I want to feel about the president’s health. The insult added to injury is too profound for me to tolerate exhortations by otherwise well-meaning people that no one say he had it coming to him. Let’s be clear: Donald Trump had it coming. The president deserves to get sick. He deserves to suffer for all the suffering he has caused millions of people knowing full well that millions of people were going to suffer. He lied, and he lied, and he lied, because nothing is more important than his desiccated fetish for winning, which isn’t winning at all. It’s the wounded pride of an empty man who can afford to deny for a lifetime he’s weak. This is the same man who mocked the disabled, women, people of color, Black people, anyone he considers beneath him, even people of integrity and honor doing the noble work of public service and trying to prevent the spread of a lethal virus. This is the same president who kidnapped babes-in-arms, banned Muslims, insulted war heroes, and pretended he was a big-shot when in reality he’s up to his eyeballs in debt. Why should I avoid taking a little pleasure in seeing what comes around going around?

I suspect we all have heard the phrase, "avoid that like the plague". One would think, I don't know, a plague would be something to avoid like the plague.

It seems very well known that people do not mask in the White House. I get the building is crowded and social distancing isn't possible. All the more reason to mask.

Hillz makes a big deal about not being fearful. It is no more fearful to wear a mask than to put on a seatbelt. It is no more fearful than owning a fire extinguisher, or putting on a lifevest while boating.

Just use simple precautions and you can live your life reasonably normal. Mask, distance, wash. The White House purposely avoided two of these.

When we debated George Floyd, there were a couple posters who said because he was on drugs he did not deserve any sympathy. Some are saying that about Trump for ignoring common sense. I have sympathy for both. I wish Trump had not gotten it, and I hope he is over it quickly.

Now above, many doubted my hope Trump will change. Yes, I have no evidence he will come out of this a "better man". But part of my liberalism is that people can change, can make themselves better. There are a few that test that belief in the White House and here, but I still believe it. I do not know it will happen with Trump, but I choose to believe it can happen. It does get harder when one gets older.

It's interesting how many people think this is some sort of political stunt by Trump. I find it difficult to believe how this could possibly benefit Trump?

Not quite.

Just nope.

America used to come together during shit like this and presidents of both parties lead the way. I wonder what changed?

Care to tell us when your friends are sending the next virus our way?

I do not believe it is a stunt, too many people would have to be in on it.

But I suspect we will soon hear his performance Tuesday was due to COVID.

Its just plain and simple DUMB. And people who are pushing against the idea are gullible and dumb.

There is proof everywhere showing that it works.

Go easy on the orange guy with little hands. Trust the White House to tell all about his health just like he released his tax information and the controlling party and he provided an excellent health care plan. He will change and become someone who is empathetic and will listen to others and learn. He will change just like a music composer who erases his composition....as he decomposes.

Be as nice to him as he was to Hillary when she got pneumonia.

His bone spur may put him in a higher risk category. Probably caused his shuffling down that ramp or his mini strokes late last year. Send him a few dozen hamburgers or some bleach..or some of that snake oil he has been touting.

Wear a mask.

I will. But I certainly won't pass the information on to you. You don't deserve that privilege.

I will just let you suffer slowly in your ignorance.

You’re drivel gets old but you’re just doing your job.

We can’t all be in that grand world of yours.
I cant complain. Attractive and interesting enough to get laid regularly.
My big conundrum the past week has been to decide which road bike I want to get.
Been doing this low heart rate bike training to improve my aerobic fitness. Quite surprising results.
