Rona J Trump

I thought the emoji would alert you that I was being playful in response to Mark's post. Lighten up, Francis's mom.

No he's really dumb.
Vitamin D is important in the era of Covid. Come out of your mom's basement for a change and feel the sun! Your magazines and records and PlayStation and weed will be there when you get back. Maybe even a plate of pizza rolls, who knows?

Did someone say pizza rolls? Are they Totino's?

Not that sort of place unfortunately though there are plenty like that in Spore.
One of my favorite experiences in Asia was walking around in downtown Kuala Lumpur on a Saturday night. At one point a tout started yelling at me from across the street: "Hey Joe! Hey you, Amaycan! You want meet plitty ger?! Nice brojaw? Maybe some FLUUUUCKEE?!" I was laughing too hard to even respond.

Trump is a terrible pol and he hasn't handled the race thing well, but I doubt he's truly racist. It's like with the Russia/Putin crap... I never bought that either.
In my opinion, if a guy talks like a racist, acts like a racist, and behaves like a racist, he must be a racist. I don't know how else you would define a racist. Help me. No, no, "if a guy is Democrat, he is a racist" argument may hold in your narrow circle of unintelligent party loyalist racists, but it does not hold very well in an intelligent society. Did you really get a degree from IU?

No one:

Where did you get that picture? I told my wife not to release it in public!

He can be a racist, but I am ok with it as long as he gets my SC judges and lowers my taxes. And no, I am not a racist.
In fact some of my best friends are blacks plus I know quite a few Asians. So there...

I see Twitter has banned posts wishing for Trump's death. I am glad they did.

We can debate the merits of that policy, but the fact is that this policy is seemingly only applied to Trump, as are dozens of other "exceptions." The reality is that Twitter owes the majority of its stock value to Trump.

Yes, they should apply it to more people. In fact, everyone.

Quite funny. As an Chinese I rarely get accosted like that in KL. My issue with KL is the food. I would die earlier than projected if I lived there.
Penang's equally good but I have the beaches & mountains there. And therefore lots of outdoor activities.

In fact, I have upped my exercise regime from 5-7hrs per week (pre-Rona) to now 12-15hrs per week in prep for my move. Otherwise its early grave with the food there. Chinese/Malay with a touch of Thai.

Broken collar bones or early grave with obesity!

If I were Biden I’d be done. Virtual everything from this point forward. F it. Not worth the risk. He already debated. Any claim that he’s a p*ssy is gone with trump in the hospital. He’s not being weak he’s being smart. Resonates more now. I’d literally campaign from my basement.
That's OK, but even then he should release material several times per day. The Dems need to make Trump respond to THEM, not wait till Trump blathers and then fact-check (I mean, lie-check) Trump in a clusterf--- scramble.

Trump is not particularly good at responding. Biden could spend, say, one hour making several short videos to be released throughout the coming day, each of which forcing Trump's people to spend an hour filming a response. Control the discussion, not sit back and react.

The Democrats will use the virus to get rid of Joe once elected. Then President Harris and the radical left lunatics will take over and turn the USA into Amerikstan.

😉
Well then, if that hypothetical proves to be true, they'd be playing catchup. Trump has already accomplished most of that during the past 3+ years.

I'd demand the entourages get included in the rules. Include a rule that only three people can remove their masks - the moderator and two candidates, and even then, only while they are at their seat/podiums. Anyone else removes their mask, they get escorted out. Immediately.
Plus the audience. Trump's posse in the oddience refused to wear masks. Many of them had just been in the White House.

That was my very first trip to Asia, so it caught me entirely off guard.

Those pics remind me so much of the Philippines...though I presume cleaner and less impoverished. One of these years....

In case anyone is confused between the two....

Reaction #1: Sglow those are gorgeous pics. What a beautiful country and your cities, so much we can learn and apply here. That being said, I still prefer America and it's amazing parks and scenery. What can I say...I bleed red, white and blue.

Reaction #2: F#$k Sglow. Stay and die in your shit hole country. I hope we nuke that God forbidden hell hole off the map! I'll stay in the greatest country that has ever been created and will ever be....America! All other countries can suck America's big meaty red white and blue c#$k!!!

Answer: 1 is patriotism. 2 is nationalism.

Many people don't get the distinction.

FYI....beautiful pics. I need to get there before I die.

😂 😂 I wasn't sure where you were going at one point!! Having travelled enough, I have come to the conclusion that variety is the spice of life.
Changes and discombobulation can be re-energising too.

Yeah it was off point but I had a conversation earlier today and my base argument was that Trump is a nationalist, not a patriot and he looked at me like I had two heads.

When I saw your pics it made me think of it.

In case anyone wasn't sure of the difference here. Lol

Serious question...a couple of weeks ago, you were giving information on the situation in your area, and how serious it was getting. Any updates on the virus and how it is affecting the population around you? I think many people on here were concerned and interested at the same time.

The virus seems to have slowed in the Amish community. It’s difficult to be sure because they avoid testing if at all possible.

On the other hand an older couple who are friends of my mother and live just up the street both tested positive this week after I twisted their arms to be tested. I don’t understand the resistance to testing. They had symptoms for 4-5 days. My sister had been in their house with everyone wearing a mask last Sunday. She was helping the wife with her cell phone. My sister and her husband were both tested Thursday and were negative.

My mother lives in a cottage that’s detached from an Assisted Living Faculty. In the main Facility in the last week or so 8 have tested positive and 3 have died.

A healthy 53 year old woman in our community got the virus from her husband. He recovered fairly easy. She died yesterday after having a stroke while on a ventilator. They disconnected her from the ventilator and she passed.

In summary the Amish Community where outbreak started seems to have slowed but hard to be sure. I don’t think it has slowed much in the overall community.

Thanks for asking.

They have found that putting someone infected onto the invasive ventilator rather than an NIV has resulted in some negative outcomes due to intubation. The Invasive ventilator itself has caused some secondary complication and not directly from the virus itself -- particularly the psychological component. (They akin it to PTSD.)

The following articles have said so much -- carefully worded statements no doubt suggesting that folks should not jump into intubations too quickly.

I too was thinking about that. Trump was shouting for 90 mins and I’ve read numerous articles that droplets travel considerably farther than 6 feet.

a diagram of the prevailing breeze that day overlaid over the seating layout would be interesting.

seems like you could be a lot more than 6 feet or 10 ft or 20 feet away if you were downwind of someone exhaling the virus for an extended period of time in a light breeze.

that said, we are assuming it's about the WH lawn event, when it could be about something or someone else.

Invasive is the last step. Folks that are bad are asking to go on. They are wore out. 50 breaths a minute will do that.

sounds like my time in Hong Kong and Macau. Probably the big difference is every time I heard someone yelling such things, I needed to check out the situation. Sometimes multiple times during the evening.
