So tonight I went to our school's fish fry like every Friday night during Lent here in Louisville and almost everyone I know greeted me with a congratulations on the firing of Crean. We are the only IU family at the school, so much so that when one of my kids leave an IU sweatshirt or their candy strip pants at the gym, everyone immediately calls us. But all the UL and UK fans made a point tonight to congratulate me and say how great it will be to see IU be great again. So many said that college basketball is more fun when IU is good. Everyone was so excited to hear who the possible coaches were. I couldn't help but think how great it is to have hope again.
