Reality check for the anti-Beard folks…

It’s depressing watching the list shrink down to the likes of Brownell. So uninspiring.

It's a bunch of know-nothings who have shrunk this mythical list. Dolson has this shit locked up like Fort Knox, so I doubt the Goodmans of the world know anything more than we do.

It wouldn't at all surprise me if 75% of the guys mentioned over and over and over were never on SD's radar ... but we'll never know that either.

I always have felt hitting a girl is about as low as you can go. However, I have seen girls that should be knocked out in situations. You have read more about this than I have but no idea how nuts she was. Could be all him for sure.

I doubt he will ever do this again tho. More likely to break a tv with a bat in front of her next time.

I said weeks ago IU would hire somebody like bronwell and got laughed at. Starting to look like it could really happen though. Its just such an IU move to hire a guy like that while passing on beard.

This isn't 2017 or 2021 ... the past means nothing. Different circumstances. This is Dolson's first real basketball HC hire, and I doubt he brings in a "meh" coach.

I'd bet my spleen it won't be Brownell. Hell, I'd bet a less important internal organ that he was never seriously considered ... if at all. BB's last two solid seasons can't cloak a pedestrian career.

He would be an awful hire imo. Plus somebody said he has a playbook that takes like three years to learn. Sounds like Archie's packline!
