We could use James near the top of their metric leaderboard this season. He’s got the leg talent.

He had some nice kicks, but he also had some absolute duds at the worst possible times.

He needs to do more than look to improve his consistency, he simply needs to do it.
Otherwise, he better be looking over his shoulder for the competition, because it should be coming.

I thought he looked pretty good considering those where the first 12 games of actual Football he had played in his entire life...

If he gets the type of support he needs from his Special Teams unit (Punting is Not a one man game), I'm expecting big things from him (and the rest of his unit)..

I hope with the experience from last season, James can cut loose and rip it this coming season. Show off his big leg and let another punter do the short kicks if needed. I am looking for big punts this season that changes the field for IU.

He’s a guy we’re definitely going to need, especially with all of the uncertainty on offense. The tempo game exposes the D if we fail to move the chains, and our only respite is a kicking game that flips the field. Need to be a superior pu ting team this season.
