You spatchcock it before you cook it, so that wouldn't have helped you. 15 minutes in a 350F oven is what you needed.
Just need to find the cap right on top of your engine and pour in straight antifreeze. It'll look something like this and have oily residue on it. That's just lube for the coolant cap.
