Agree. But wasn’t Gallo’s rep coming in as a dog. A do everything guy that will be a good leader? He certainly isn’t that now.Gallo isn’t a leader, he is a shy sheep. Woody needs a self driven leader, because obviously, he isn’t inspiring shit.

No idea but I’ve talked to him many times, and he is like a scared girl. Exudes zero confidence. But hey, someone you would love your daughter to date!!!Agree. But wasn’t Gallo’s rep coming in as a dog. A do everything guy that will be a good leader? He certainly isn’t that now.
Woodson wouldn't know what to do with a self driven leader. We had one with TJD and won a single tournament game.Gallo isn’t a leader, he is a shy sheep. Woody needs a self driven leader, because obviously, he isn’t inspiring shit.
Maybe the leadership will start coming after Leal and Gallo are gone.Gallo isn’t a leader, he is a shy sheep. Woody needs a self driven leader, because obviously, he isn’t inspiring shit.
we are moving towards a new model. Gallo and Leal grew up with an appreciation for IU basketball, and they have been in this program for a long time. We are moving to a more mercenary program. We will have leadership, but not leadership that fosters a team culture. Certainly not a leadership that passes along what Indiana basketball is (or should be) to the next class of future leaders.Woodson wouldn't know what to do with a self driven leader. Hopefully we get a new coach in about 2.5 months to change course.Maybe the leadership will start coming after Leal and Gallo are gone.

The truth is we are gonna start over very soon. Nothing we talk about now will matter. We just need to fill time and talk about it.Maybe the leadership will start coming after Leal and Gallo are gone.

At the time, I thought TJD was awesome. I didn't realize he was effectively propping up the entire program. Mind boggling.Woodson wouldn't know what to do with a self driven leader. We had one with TJD and won a single tournament game.
We're not moving at all. We're stuck circling the drain endlessly. Wasted season. The good news is I don't think there's any way Woodson survives to next season. Either he or Dolson will be gone after this year and my money's on Dolson staying put.Maybe the leadership will start coming after Leal and Gallo are gone.

Leal may be a smart kid and an ok coach somewhere at some point, but not at IU! I don't want him teaching his players what he has learned from his IU coaches! If Leal wants to get into coaching I think he will do well. He's very smart.
I've had the Cheaney thought myself, but it's probably a bad idea. He's plenty old enough to have established himself as a successful head coach somewhere, if he had that ambition and the ability to do it.
Absolutely agree, was not suggesting Leal as the next IU coach. If he would someday be the IU coach, it would be after proving himself elsewhere and climbing the ladder.Leal may be a smart kid and an ok coach somewhere at some point, but not at IU! IU needs a coach with an already proven successful college system in place! A system that can bring higher IQ players in that can run an offensive set to perfection. I don’t know what coach that could be, but CMW has failed miserably in this! I hate the NBA style system! It won’t work in cbball! But it is time to move on from CMWs clown show! Even if it’s before seasons end!
After “We're gonna run it back, but you guys gotta chill” I’m a pass on Leal.Leal may be a smart kid and an ok coach somewhere at some point, but not at IU! I don't want him teaching his players what he has learned from his IU coaches!

Yet Dakich still finds reason to bash him, even now. Makes no sense. At the time, I thought TJD was awesome. I didn't realize he was effectively propping up the entire program. Mind boggling.
I agree. Woodson has done what he said he would do and is running an NBA program. It doesn't work in the Big Ten for multiple reasons.I hate the NBA style system! It won’t work in cbball!
exactly why it makes sense. he probably doesn't want the long term gig anywayIf Leal wants to get into coaching I think he will do well. He's very smart.
