Pull the plug on this dogs--t now...

Put Calbert Chaney in as in term HC and see where the chips may fall...

I have my doubts that Cal can turn this group around (notice I didn't say TEAM), but at this point anything is worth a try...
Watching Leal closely and I think he has the highest basketball intelligence on this team. Does what he can do; doesn’t try to do what he knows he can’t. That last play before the half to get Carlyle that short jumper all started with Leal doing the right thing at the right time. So much of the rest of the time we just look befuddled out there. That’s on Woodson.

In the last 2 minutes of 1H I watched a sequence that speaks volume with what’s wrong with our program. Chattanooga calls timeout to draw up a play. Dude drives and gets doubled, dishes to a cutter in middle of the lane who gets an easy layup. Defender for Iu is MM who is essentially watching his guy cut and gets the easy bucket. Emphasis on easy. MM proceeds to take the ball out to pass it to Carlyle who isn’t watching and it’s a turnover. What happens next? Absolutely nothing. This my fellow Hoosiers, THIS, is why there is no hope for our program so long as Woodson is coach. MM acts like he couldn’t give a shit what just happened and worse, our coach leaves him in the game. There was 1:15 remaining in the half when this transpired . What should have happened is Woodson pulls him out of the game for an extremely lazy play defensively and a boneheaded inbounds immediately after. But no. There is none of that. No accountability, no awareness. Zilch. This is why I have grown apathetic for the program and why I have zero confidence in Woodson and our program so long as he is the coach. He and this program under his leadership sucks.

When you’re right, you’re right.

When that lazy pass sailed out of bounds, I shook my head and said, semi-loudly, “God, unbelievable.”

My bride heard me from the kitchen and said, “what now?”

“Trust me, you don’t want to know.”

If you look through the NYC sports press his last season with the Knicks you’ll find this same criticism. He talked accountability but no accountability. He had his favorite players that were never held accountable and deep bench players that were jerked no matter how well they were playing.

I am listening to Ole Fisch while the game is on and noticed he calls Galloway, "Gallo". Woodson is corrupting everything and everyone.

Speaking of Gallo... What's with his "coming off a three day drunk" look... Just a fashion choice or is he burning the candle at both ends?

I've seen some things today that I've not seen in the same game before. Fall aways off the side of the backboard a 3/4 court outlet pass off the backboard. We are comical at this point. If Bonham and Huff still had their legs, we'd be beat.
That outlet pass from that distance and then hitting high on the backboard was absolutely classic.

Let him finish the season. But resolve yourself, if you’re Dolson, that he’s done the day after our last game…anything, ANYTHING, short of outright B10 title and/or a Natty…and he’s done. Don’t let any sort of late season push, or some mild improvements that lead to an NCAA berth cloud what you know is the right move for the program.

Be openly supportive of him most of the rest of the season. Taper that off a bit the last couple weeks.

Tell, don’t ask, Whitten and the BOT that you’re likely moving on Woodson at season’s end. And that you’ll be doing your due diligence in the mean time with future candidates.

I gotta imagine most of that's already happened.

Agree except I would fire him now. Cheney would be fine for 2 months. Maybe Leal could be player coach.

Thought the same about the suggestion of Leal as player/coach.

If Leal wants to get into coaching I think he will do well. He's very smart.

I've had the Cheaney thought myself, but it's probably a bad idea. He's plenty old enough to have established himself as a successful head coach somewhere, if he had that ambition and the ability to do it.

And if he were able to get a very talented roster to play better, and make the tournament…it’d be damn near impossible for Dolson not to give him the job. It’s that type of crap that has us in the position we are now.

Let the season play out. Go get a real, proven, college coach.

The mighty Quinn won't like that!
