In the immediate aftermath I can guarantee that there will be a fair number of people who regularly post here who will accuse anyone who points that out of panicking or overreacting.

I’m convinced there are a fair number of posters here that would defend Trump and his proxies no matter what they did.

That’s on a micro level. On a larger macro/societial level I’d like to think there will be safeguards and patriotic judges who would stand in his way, but I’d guess that’ll hold so long.

Then we're in a full-blown constitutional crisis, and I have no idea what happens next but it won't be good.

Speaking only to my personal experience with student loans, I never got the blanket $10k forgiveness that has been announced. So, I think Biden at least complied with that one. I can't speak to the others.
