pelosi husband got beat up in his home

Look, obviously any death over politics is tragic and just downright, mind numbingly stupid actions of nutjobs.

You seem to have missed the overall point that this particular violence (based on his alt-right social media footprint) was taken against a high ranking political opponent after believing dumbass conspiracy theories and treasonous influencers.

You want to play scoreboard well

800-perpetrator-affiliation-murder-extremism-2022.png

There have been 443 deaths attributed to political hate crimes in the past decade.

75% have been right wing nut jobs.
4% have been liberal nut jobs.

That's a disturbing trend, don't you agree?
Some context of that data would be nice especially given the disclaimer at the bottom of the chart and ADL’s history of being a tool of the Democratic Party.

Do a little reading about generational wealth and how peop,e of color have been behind the eight ball on passing property or wealth down. It’s not difficult to understand. You are already in that club.

"Man Dies After Medical Incident During Police Interaction."

That was the initial headline that the 'evil' media first ran as it came straight from the police, which is common. It's the classic 'police are saying' source.

It wasn't until someone released the actual video of the incident that shit hit the fan. The 'police are saying' source came across as 'police are lying'.

If your first reaction wasn't 'aw f#$k, this isn't good' then you don't know the history of that relationship.

'Police Brutality' has been a tinderbox issue since forever in this country. It's the base core of what drove the black panther party to form. It's why there have been major riots break out every ten to twenty years...from the Chicago beach riots of 1919 to the Watts riot of 1965 to Rodney King riot of 1992 to Floyd of 20 and in between.

The George Floyd death was a real event. The reaction to it was awful but it was based on a real event. The violence that came out of it was from an actual event, it wasn't incited by a political leader.

Right wing violence has been brewed out of lies and conspiracal righteousness from it's leaders.

If BLM burned cities because democratic leaders and influencers have convinced the black community that fifty year old conservative white men are secretly participating in Satan worshipping that involves the sacrifice of African American children, to the point that you don't feel safe because of it....then we would have a comparison.
The vast majority of BLM protesters were peaceful and some of the most famous acts of violence were perpetuated by those trying to make the protesters look bad:

Here is what we have found based on the 7,305 events we’ve collected. The overall levels of violence and property destruction were low, and most of the violence that did take place was, in fact, directed against the BLM protesters.

First, police made arrests in 5% of the protest events, with over 8,500 reported arrests (or possibly more). Police used tear gas or related chemical substances in 2.5% of these events.

Protesters or bystanders were reported injured in 1.6 percent of the protests. In total, at least three Black Lives Matter protesters and one other person were killed while protesting in Omaha, Austin and Kenosha, Wis. One anti-fascist protester killed a far-right group member during a confrontation in Portland, Ore.; law enforcement killed the alleged assailant several days later.

Police were reported injured in 1% of the protests. A law enforcement officer killed in California was allegedly shot by supporters of the far-right “boogaloo” movement, not anti-racism protesters.

The killings in the line of duty of other law enforcement officers during this period were not related to the protests.

Only 3.7% of the protests involved property damage or vandalism. Some portion of these involved neither police nor protesters, but people engaging in vandalism or looting alongside the protests.

In short, our data suggest that 96.3% of events involved no property damage or police injuries, and in 97.7% of events, no injuries were reported among participants, bystanders or police.

These figures should correct the narrative that the protests were overtaken by rioting and vandalism or violence.

Jones reviewed protests in more than 140 cities and spoke with U.S. officials within the joint terrorism task force. Most of the violence, Jones said, was committed by “local hooligans, sometimes gangs, sometimes just individuals that are trying to take advantage of an opportunity.”

“There were reports of some antifa at different protests,” he concluded. “But they stood back, did not engage, certainly not in a violent way.”

Officials have arrested more than 14,000 people across 49 cities nationwide since May 27, according to a Washington Post tally of data provided by police departments and included in media reports. Thousands were arrested for low-level offenses, including curfew violations and failure to disperse.

Roughly 80 federal charges, including murder and throwing molotov cocktails at police vehicles, reveal no evidence of an antifa plot. Four people who identify with the far-right extremist “boogaloo” movement are among those facing the most serious federal charges. Asked whether anyone who identifies as antifa had been charged, Department of Justice spokesman Matt Lloyd said via email, “We do not collect statistics based on potential inspiration but on unlawful acts according to statute.”

A rightwing extremist boasted of driving from Texas to Minneapolis to help set fire to a police precinct during the George Floyd protests, federal prosecutors said.

US attorney Erica MacDonald said on Friday that she had charged Ivan Harrison Hunter, a 26-year-old Texas resident, with traveling across state lines to participate in a riot. The charges are the latest example of far-right extremists attempting to use violence to escalate national protests against police brutality into an uprising against the government, and even full civil war.

The case also reveals the extent of the coordination between violent members of the nascent far-right “Boogaloo Bois” movement operating in different cities across the country.

Lol 96 and 97 percent. Unfortunately that 3 and 4 percent resulted in over 2,000 cops being injured and billions upon billions of property damage. That says nothing about the ongoing economic damage that visited cities predicated on crime and the perception of crime. The summer of love was predicated on a falsehood and is one of the uglier moments in US history

I used to look forward to your posts. They were substantive and thought-provoking. This, though, is something I'd expect from danc or one of the other geniuses who liked it.

I "NEED" this? What the fvck are you talking about? I'm sickened by it. I wish to God it was the last time we'd see something like this. But there's more to come, thanks in part to QAnon, 4chan, Gab and other platforms where conspiracies, lies and hate speech are the order of the day.
The brains of leftists have been forever altered by the Donald’s tenure as President. The most serious damage he did was to the psyche of those of you in the Democratic Party that just can’t let him go. You clutch pearls & live in fear of something that may but more likely may not even happen in 2 years, being a run for POTUS again. The media has figured this out & has made lapdogs of many of you. Ranger is 100% right, you do need this to fulfill your thirst for moral outrage.

Beyond that, the "advantage" they are talking about mostly came about because of the GI Bill and what returning service members were able to do when coming back. That was my grandparents. My Dad's parents have both passed. They left nothing of monetary value to their kids. My mom's mother is in her 90's and still alive. She has been retired as long as I can remember and I am 43. Most of her "wealth" has been used to pay for her and my grandfather's retirement years. He lived well into his 80's.

The only wealth they passed on to my parents was a steady home provided by working class families. Yeah, red lining wasn't great but a vast majority of the ills that plague the black community are more recent and self inflicted.

Believing that Obama critics are racist is showing your racism. Obama derserved enough respect to know his critics were based on his ideas and competence, both of which deserved criticism.
I didn't refer to politicians opposed to his policies. YOU made that leap...

My post specifically referred to the hate crimes perpetrated by "average citizens" who did not hide their racist intent. My post was in response to the ridiculous claim from ftw that Obama was a "divider"...You put words in my mouth that I never said, and in the process found yourself allied with ftw... Congrats?

So I KNOW what I was referring to and what I based my retort to ftw on. Are you going to argue that the incidents described in this 2009 article from SPLC are NOT racist?

Are you going to just ignore history and the fact that gaining "generational wealth" has always been a much more difficult obstacle for people of color? This once prosperous Black family owned a resort that catered to Black families in Manhattan Beach CA in the early part of the 20th Century. in 1924, the City at the urging of the KKK confiscated their property and annexed it to supposedly build a park. But almost 100 yrs later we discover that it was jealousy from neighbors over a Black family having "wealth" that led to this family having their property seized and an entire family's generational wealth being wiped out...

Fortunately the City of LA has moved to at least right the wrong, so their great grandchildren and their descendants will have the family's wealth and legacy restored. But generations of this family were displaced and forced to move elsewhere and live a life deprived of their rightful property solely on the basis of their skin color. I doubt that has or ever will happen to you, and this was CA, not the deeply segregated South. And despite all of the "progress" we have made, this injustice to this family was only recognized and (partially) rectified within the past 5 yrs or so...

BIden and harris have divided us infinitely more than obama ever did. obama was fine. hell obama was a good president. biden and harris are dual airbags. the end of woke bullshit is coming. thankfully.
Have to disagree with you about Obama being a good President.

I didn't vote for him, but was OK with him being elected. Despite his lack of any real experience in anything, I thought he could bring the country together.

WRONG! Instead, he weaponized the IRS and DOJ to war against conservatives. His wife stoked racial strife and did nothing but air black grievances. Not that their weren't legitimate grievances - there certainly are - but instead of trying to fix it by focusing on real problems, they just further stoked racial strife.

What we're seeing now with Biden/Harris is just a continuation of Obama/Trump.

Let's be very clear here. Let's speak plainly. They have been corrupted by the liberal media. They have been brainwashed. Now they are a very dangerous cult who deny Jesus and his teachings and subscribe to wokeism. Simply put, they are heathens. And they've installed the worst of us as mods who reinforce and perpetuate the sins they advocate on here daily. You've been charged, perhaps even chosen, to show them the light. I implore you to rain down on these people with the teachings of the Old Testament. From a political standpoint Danc has the strength to suffocate them. His courage and bravery is unmatched. Perhaps only Cray comes close. But together they lack the religious background for meaningful conversion therapy. You don't. You possess it. Now you must use it....
I'm glad you appreciated the restraint I show on this board.

But I do possess the necessary religious background to battle satan and his minions on this forum. I'm just waiting for the right moment to smite them.

As our President likes to say: No joke

I think Zeke is interested in you and finding out about your personal life - especially since you are the self-proclaimed cocksman of the board. Or is that coxswain?

Exactly! The only time to really be upset with violence is when it's ACTUALLY committed. No reason to be concerned with a threat of violence. Let us know when someone gets hurt, then we will be outraged. Maybe. I mean, the SD 18 who got ran over was possibly a "republican extremist", so that could be a justified killing.

No. No. I am going with "Ok. It’s horrible. K? Put him in jail and throw away the key." That's showing real outrage. I feel better now. I'm such a good person.
You have signaled your virtue, young Jedi.

Man I've been out at an event...Where are my peeps.

I lost track of counting during all the violence. Heres 4 liberal killings of conservatives, some Trump supporters. I could post more and the violent left threatened all conservatives and Trump supporters.

As I was leaving Louisville today we passed by the Bearnos where the 4 black guys defended the white cop who was helpless and a mob wanted to kill him. I pointed it out to the family. Those are your people lefty coming after a cop!!!

Not a peep from any one of you. AND your media never even reported it. So you all keep turning a blind eye thinking all is well and right coz guess what it ain't. If Merrick Garland would have come out with something against Trump the other day....That would trigger it. People are pissed off and over all this shit. BUT nothing to see here.

Not what I meant. Joe was making a play for zeke (no doubt a fever dream, but whatever). Gotta believe he won't take kindly to the competition. Of course, having met zeke, it's obvious to me that she could do much better than Joe or McM, but it would be fun to watch them fall all over themselves.

I'm not, nor have I ever been, a Democrat. I suspect, though, that you've always been clueless.

I don't give a shit whether Trump runs again. If he survives his steady diet of Big Macs w/fries (with a Diet Coke or Coke Zero or whatever they call it now - - hilarious), makes it to 2024, runs and gets the nomination, he'll lose in the general to anyone not named Biden, Harris or Clinton.

Long term, though, it really doesn't matter whether he's the Republican nominee in 2024 or not. The damage to the party is done. That will become even more evident in the next couple of weeks. The Election Deniers look to do well on Nov 8. And at least some of those who lose close races will create chaos.

And this is the nonsense you pull. Because it wasn’t true for you, it’s not true in a number of people? White privilege doesn’t mean you were born with a silver spoon. It means you didn’t have your color working against you. It means no one in your family had their land taken from them because of their color. Was your family sharecropping? Was anyone turned down for a loan because of their color? Was anyone turned down for a GI loan due to their color? Anecdotal evidence doesn’t tell the whole story, it never does. You surely know that?

How about to the belief that the US had fair elections but now about 1/2 of the Republican candidates in contested areas are election deniers? So, if they lose the win and if they win, they will accept the results but shouldn't if that is their position.

How helpful is that to a functioning democracy or at least was for 240+ years?
