The Tweet is made up?He didn’t say anything remotely close to this. All of that is made up.
A lot of them are or embellished. It’s how they get shared and more clicks. Too many people get giddy and stupid. The Tweet is made up?
Nonsense.Behind Woodson's assitant coach Redmon and Cosch Ya. So we still have a way to go to get better lol
Not happening. Woody is not a quitter. My hope is Woody has the grace to resign.
Yep. Listened to the whole pressor. Pearl never talks about UK as a blue blood. None of that was true. All made up.The Tweet is made up?
Bulletin Board material. I wouldn't want to play them next game. Sort of like when we caught them coming off the loss to App St. The guy knows how to push buttons. That's all that is. He's already priming for facing them again in the SEC tourney.
Yeah my bad. Probably written by a Kentucky fan. I should've caught that. Who the hell considers Auburn a blue blood? Lol.Yep. Listened to the whole pressor. Pearl never talks about UK as a blue blood. None of that was true. All made up.
That's the same guy, not 2 different coaches named Redmon and Ya . Yasir Rosemond is the name you're looking for.Behind Woodson's assitant coach Redmon and Cosch Ya. So we still have a way to go to get better lol
You really need to do a deeper dive into your program. I'm not going to spell it out for you.Knight caused damage?? You just placed your comment in the top 10 dumbest posts ever in the history of this forum. Congrats.
WowYep. Listened to the whole pressor. Pearl never talks about UK as a blue blood. None of that was true. All made up.
I've been pushing for that guy for 20 yearsSapakoff: A Gregg Marshall coaching comeback? Why, where and why not

Tell me more about the greatest College Basketball Coach of all time. I’m all ears. You really need to do a deeper dive into your program. I'm not going to spell it out for you.
Just realized I’m in the wrong thread, thanks!Defense is dogshit.
Don’t forget about the offense…Defense is dogshit.
Him, or they need to take a real hard look at Pearl 2.0 in Terre Haute. Just my two cents ...Jesus, hire him. Zero chance we aren’t in a final four in the next 3 years.
Oh well, at least we have special teams to fall back on.Don’t forget about the offense…
I'm hearing this too. Btownbanners mentioned it and Peegs.@Kellerdog I got a text that Fatjohns posted Pearl would love the Indiana job? You talk to him ever or what?
Have they turned on Woody? I remember when a negative post about CTC would have consequences for the poster. Must not have the access they want if they've turned.@Kellerdog I got a text that Fatjohns posted Pearl would love the Indiana job? You talk to him ever or what?
He has publicly said that IU was his Dream Job. That was a while ago IIRC. I do know that he hates the Under Armor contract a bunch, has cost he/AU a ton of recruits. (In bball and football). He also wants Steven to be named HC in waiting, similar to Knight and Sampson. Long story short, I think that ship has probably sailed IMO. He would have IU back in the Sweet 16 in 2 years...@Kellerdog I got a text that Fatjohns posted Pearl would love the Indiana job? You talk to him ever or what?
Do you know what his buyout with Auburn is? Is Adidas any better than UA? Seems to me it's Nike and everyone else.He has publicly said that IU was his Dream Job. That was a while ago IIRC. UA is a sinking ship. Adidas has a much stronger foothold in youth basketball than UA.Do you know what his buyout with Auburn is? Is Adidas any better than UA? Seems to me it's Nike and everyone else.

I saw 8.5 million next month. Adidas isn’t Nike but it’s better than UA.Do you know what his buyout with Auburn is? Is Adidas any better than UA? Seems to me it's Nike and everyone else.
He’s rich. We could offer him similar $ and he could go to a bball school and be campus god.Pearl is 63 years old and makes 5.4 million at Auburn. I can't see him walking away from that.
It's not age, it's energy and willingness to learn, grow and innovate. Pearl seems a young 63, where CMW seems an older 64. If someone still has the fire, I don't think 63 is too young. I'm way less comfortable with agreeing to his son taking over. That would be a deal-killer for me. I'd say, well, if you do well and he's on your staff and is your top assistant, he'd have every opportunity to interview and continue your success, and an orderly transition is certainly preferable.Pearl is too old. If you want to be right back where we are now in 3-5 years, hire an old man.
I don't think the motivation would be exclusively money. If he feels he can't recruit to AU or not get them to that elite plane, it's possible he might feel that he could do that at IU. There are advantages to being at a football first school in that it deflects some criticism, but it will also always be the first to get $$ and support that might otherwise go to the bball program. At IU, those dollars are going to go to bball first generally. At Auburn, he's always going to be 3rd fiddle: Football first, spring football second, then basketball third.Pearl is 63 years old and makes 5.4 million at Auburn. I can't see him walking away from that.
Two years??? Year one!!!He has publicly said that IU was his Dream Job. That was a while ago IIRC. I do know that he hates the Under Armor contract a bunch, has cost he/AU a ton of recruits. Yep. And Cig is 62.It's not age, it's energy and willingness to learn, grow and innovate. Pearl seems a young 63, where CMW seems an older 64. Again, we are only guessing. As AD you've got to sit down with every candidate and hear their "vision" for IU and what/when they think they can accomplish and also hear their explanations for your concerns about their history/experience.
Maybe he’d see it as one last shot at getting a title in that 4-5 year window?🤷Pearl is 63 years old and makes 5.4 million at Auburn. I can't see him walking away from that.
Exactly, it’s not age at all. Calipari is Woody’s age, can’t stand the dude but look at his passion and energy!Yep. And Cig is 62.
