Watching Tennessee and Vanderbilt. OB play where ball is tipped on the inbound pass. Clock starts on the tip, as it should, then stops before starting again as play continues. At the next deadball, the refs go back to determine how long the clock didn't run. They decide the clock was paused for 1.3 seconds during live play. There was 2 seconds on the clock at that point, so they added the time to the clock and there is now 3.3 seconds left. TV crew is explaining what's going on and why they're adding the time. Shouldn't the time have come off, or have I had too many beers?

Just keep us posted.

Barnes has a good team in Knoxville. Very enjoyable to watch. They play D, have guys that aren't afraid to make plays and put out for the entire game.

So if the clock was frozen with 2 seconds and 1.3 seconds went by then there should only be .7 seconds left on the clock. Like someone said above, if you are watching this game then you are drunk

A lot of shit posters on this board would do well to watch some other basketball teams once in while. Those that don't are the equivalent of UK fans who limit themselves to the dating pool at the family reunion.

It’s refreshing to see teams that play hard and physical and a coach (Barnes) that will actually get in his players grills when they mess up.

All this is happening at a school that supposedly is a “football school.”
So much for those worn out tags.

The guy who scored 43 tonight for Tennessee was recruited by absolutely nobody.

wow. did that really happen?

It turned out to be a non-issue due to a missed shot, but could have been the difference in the game.

Vandy got jobbed on a hook and hold F1 that was a generous interpretation of that already dumb rule. That was the actual reason they went to OT.

I have been going to UT game for a while. So glad Barnes is gone. He was so stale and ran this program into the ground. His teams were classic underachievers since the days of Durant and Ford and Augustine. Even when they had durant USC blew them off the court in the round of 32. They had to move on from him. They had plenty of talented teams post durant and continually underachieved. When I moved here in 07 they were filling up the arena and within 5 years he had ran off the fans. Let's see if he can keep the ball rolling at Tennessee.

Shaka wasn't overrated. He produced at VCU and deserved a shot at a big program whether he panned out or not. I like Shaka but he is probably gone after this year or next year. He checks some boxes (leader, defense and recruiting) but I've never seen a worse executed offense. That is his downfall. Offensive coaching. He does nothing to change it up.
