That’s too many, but it’s still significant. If Trump follows through on pardoning all or most he’ll be spending political capital he can’t afford to spend.
Depends on what they did. Impulsive. Planned. Trespass. AssaultThat’s too many, but it’s still significant. If Trump follows through on pardoning all or most he’ll be spending political capital he can’t afford to spend.
And just 2 of 10 support the Hunter Biden pardon. They're both not facing a reelection so I don't think it matters. That’s too many, but it’s still significant. If Trump follows through on pardoning all or most he’ll be spending political capital he can’t afford to spend.
It matters for Trump. If his favorable ratings tank too soon he’ll be limited in what he can get done. And just 2 of 10 support the Hunter Biden pardon. They're both not facing a reelection so I don't think it matters.
If I were Trump, you would be the last person I would take advice from! That’s too many, but it’s still significant. If Trump follows through on pardoning all or most he’ll be spending political capital he can’t afford to spend.

🐐Your boy Clay Travis wants all of them pardoned, no matter what they did.
He doesn't care. People on both sides will go crazy, and then we will go on to the next outrage. Hell, he's already lining up primary challenges to Joni Ernst. It matters for Trump. If his favorable ratings tank too soon he’ll be limited in what he can get done.
Why do you do that? If you read the link, you'd see some other results you like. IPSOS is rated highly by 538. You're rated highly by . . . well, no one.Ipsos? Lmao.
Wait until the truth comes out.
That's not true...... @bailey777 is one! You're rated highly by . . . well, no one.
What was the question? The statistic is worthless w/o knowing exactly what was asked. That’s too many, but it’s still significant. If Trump follows through on pardoning all or most he’ll be spending political capital he can’t afford to spend.
It's in the link. Supporting and defending the J6 rioters is one of the many things I don't get about the MAGA faction of the party. They attacked police. They damaged Capitol property. These are things Republicans historically oppose. What was the question? The statistic is worthless w/o knowing exactly what was asked.
Can you copy and paste? I don’t see it.It's in the link. Supporting and defending the J6 rioters is one of the many things I don't get about the MAGA faction of the party. They attacked police. They damaged Capitol property. These are things Republicans historically oppose.

You're truly the dumbest poster in WC history. Find a poll that you like and link that.

Hunter/Biden did not storm the capital and injured police officersAnd just 2 of 10 support the Hunter Biden pardon. They're both not facing a reelection so I don't think it matters.
Never said they did buddy.Hunter/Biden did not storm the capital and injured police officers
I thought all cops were bastards?Hunter/Biden did not storm the capital and injured police officers
Comparing two unpopular pardons isn't a comparison? Then there is no comparison
False equivalencies are very popular these days.Comparing two unpopular pardons isn't a comparison?
It's weird that Trump calls them 'hostages.' They still pledge allegiance to Trump though which I guess is good enough for a get out of jail free card.I don't support full pardons for any of them. What they did was unforgivable and should never happen again. Pardoning them sends the message as clearly as it could be sent that what constitutes a permissible protest to a disputed election outcome all depends on who wins and loses them.
That said, I do think there were a handful of excessive sentences handed down that I wouldn't have a problem seeing commuted. If I'm not mistaken, that's how Carter handled some of the Watergate perps.
False equivalencies are very popular these days.
only bad ones, who kill unarmed citizensI thought all cops were bastards?
not even the same.Comparing two unpopular pardons isn't a comparison?
I noticed he offers up the false equivalences to what happened in places like Portland and Minneapolis vs the January 6 rioters. To be clear, anyone who broke the law in federal buildings in Portland, Minneapolis or where ever should also be appropriately prosecuted, but it's a totally different situation than what happened in the Capitol on January 6.
1 out of 3 ain't bad.@dbmhoosier for months led the charge educating all of us fools on what was going to happen in November. He was right and is the undisputed polling king until 2028.
I don't think there's all that much substantial difference. Our biases often color the lens through which we see things. That certainly goes for Trump (who sees pretty much everything in relation to him) -- and it goes for all of us.I noticed he offers up the false equivalences to what happened in places like Portland and Minneapolis vs the January 6 rioters. To be clear, anyone who broke the law in federal buildings in Portland, Minneapolis or where ever should also be appropriately prosecuted, but it's a totally different situation than what happened in the Capitol on January 6.
These comparisons are similar to what would happen if you trespassed at a basketball game. If you walked out on the court during a sparsely attended high school game during the game, the referees would rightly stop the game and some hired security would escort you outside and tell you not to come back in. Now consider what would happen if you did the exact same thing during live action at a Final Four or NBA Finals game.
Similar transgressions, but night and day difference in consequences.
Again, you keep trying to compare the transgressions, I'm comparing the popularity of both pardons. This isn't rocket surgery.not even the same.
