I saw a lead in newstand about early bracketology and of course I was interested. I selected the article and was confronted with a collection of tweets, twitters and whatever else "new" ways of telling stories without writing are available in the "information age". The use of twitter and tweet are no longer optional. If you want info you must use these illiterate formats. I for one will forego the inane use of abbreviated info and do without or hope that some literate media person will actually write a story that I can read and enjoy. If the continued use of video , twitter , and other shortcuts continue to be the vogue for the sports media they can take English and Literature out of their curriculum because it will no longer be necessary to their job.As it is , their grammar is already horrible. Longing for a time when you could log on to peegs and read good stories about Indiana University.
